Solid managed switch for the money.
Great buy, especially when on sale for 65% off. Provides all the functionality we require for a small operation. Two things to keep in mind, yes you can manage the switch by directly logging into it rather than using the cloud solution. The process is not straight forward but still fairly easy to figure out.Second, upgrade the firmware!Good networking.

Unbelievable value at current prices (Dec 2020)
At the moment of this writing, the GC110 is available in the same price range as unmanaged 8-Port Netgear switches. In comparison this product has superior build quality and also works as unmanaged switch out of the box. The GC110 allows full web config in local browser without any subscription.I have my Netgear server connected with LACP 2-port bonding at 2Gbps.Fantastic value for money.

Awesome Device!
I am totally surprised at the quality of the hardware and the superb iOS app! The app allows you to do nearly everything you can do by directly signing into the router - this is a really good buy especially for $40 dollars! If you want a truly cloud managed device for your networking needs you can’t beat this!

Good little Switch
Installed and working ! Only complain is the fact this switch takes a LONG time to boot. In fact, it was so slow at first I thought the device was DOA. However, after awhile the yellow light turned green and the switch was on-line working. A few more minutes later the blue light lit indicating it was communicating to the cloud account.

Did not work for my use case - May work for others. Limited SFPs available. Chonky!!
I needed a portable switch that I could use to interface with industrial equipment that only has fast ethernet fiber ports (100BASE-FX and 100BASE-LX). In my industry the adoption of gigabit ethernet has been slow and FE fiber still dominates. This switch arrived and looks nice and has a good web HMI. Has a lot of power for management functions. However they only sell gigabit ethernet fiber SFP modules. Fast ethernet cannot be found. I tried FE SFPs from Cisco and StarTech and neither one worked in this switch. The StarTech ones were even specifically labeled for Netgear, but still didnt work.Other thing is this guy turned out to be CHONKY. Weighs in at about 5lbs. It weighs as much as a laptop. Not really a factor if you are going to install it and forget it, but for portable use its not a good look.I sent mine back. Gave it 3 stars because it did have a nice management interface and my use case is fairly unique so someone else with a more typical use case might have no issue with it.

These Switches are Dope
I bought two of these to teach myself and learn how to establish a VLAN. It didn't take long to have these up and running thanks to the Insight App. I now have a better understanding about networking and VLANs thanks to these switches. I couldn't be happier with the purchase they are exactly what I needed.

I was surprised
Considering the price point this switch does a lotI was really impressed with the desktop firmwareI will say that the cloud app sucks. Really really sucksbut who needs to remotely manage a switch these days.If you did the network is probably trashed by then anywaysI would say its a good buy. They charge extra for some of the cloud featuresThe mobile apps is way watered down and disappointing so leave it on local and you will be happy

cheap and works great as a basic switch with fiber ports.
I bought it for the fiber interface. Don't need the managed option and it works just fine without it. Just plug it in and it works.

Great value, no major complaints.
Physically seems well enough made, outer shell is stamped steel. Includes stick on feet for desktop as well as wall mount hardware. Would be nice if it had an integrated PSU rather than an external power brick. Now for the software. First off - the silly "cloud" stuff can be disabled. They try to shove it in your face the first time you use the product - but just log in via web browser, close the registration box that pops up, and change the radio box option on the first screen to disable "Insight App/Cloud" to "Direct Connect"Web UI is logically organized and easy to use, zero issues bonding ports for 3 devices. So far, stability is fine though I immediately updated to the latest firmware. At current regular pricing, I would recommend.I should point out, mine was purchased as "New" - "Sold by Amazon". However, it appears to be an opened and resealed product. Not an issue for me, but it could potentially be an issue for someone using the cloud management service if the product was registered, returned, and resold.
