Best Sling Ever, Worth Every Penny
I bought this at the recommendation of a friend and after reading all of the eye-popping reviews. One theme in many of the previous reviews is that you will never use another sling after you try this one. It’s true. I’ll never go back. It’s a game changer. For years I have suffered with normal slings. And you don’t really realize how much you dealt with previously with your old style slings until you try this one. For the coffee or beer or bourbon snobs out there, you know what I mean. This is the Pappy Van Winkle of slings. Bar none. And worth every penny. After experiencing the Safari Sling, my only question is how the hell did I not run into this earlier? The main utility for me is holding a rifle in a ready position while moving, particularly while spotting and stalking. I used it for the first time a few weeks ago on a spot and stalk hunt for elk and antelope in Wyoming. Having hunted elk for years, i quickly realized how beneficial the Safari Sling is. It is easily adjustable, allowing you to move where you want the gun based on your clothes or pack. It takes a little getting used to, but within minutes I had it figured out, moreover, it spreads the weight of a heavy gun over more of your back rather than a shoulder, giving you less fatigue and more mobility. It REALLY blew my mind when I started crawling on my hands and knees after some pronghorn. It swung right below my chest, and as long as I moved slowly, which was required given the situation anyway, it kept the gun off the ground and let me move within position without having to worry about carrying the gun in one hand. I could crawl on all fours. It helped, I was impressed, and as many of the other reviews say, I won’t ever go back.I know this is going to be equally beneficial in a tree stand. Looking forward to testing it out in that venue soon.

Easy flow from carry to aim
This is a great sling. I don't like shouldering my rifle and this sling allows me to carry the rifle in front scope up and safety out. The flow from carry to aim is seamless.

Only sling I'll ever use again
This was the 3rd one of these I purchased. The last as a gift to a friend. First one purchased was the camo one maybe 5 years ago from a retailer (not longer carries). Purchased 2nd, this year for myself since I got tired of moving it from Shotgun to rifle to black powered.Durability: First one has started to fray along edges. Expect many more years of use from it but edges did fray but it has been in woods ~100 times.Comfort: Ideal. Carry in front hands free when necessary. Quiet, comfortable with weight of rifle on shoulders.Usage: Do not need to unsling to shoot. Just lift to shooting position. No more holding sling on shoulder when walking like other slings.Attachment. Easy. Although clips do not come with it to attach its easy to attach to clips. Ideally you get the ones which can be quickly removed to transfer sling to another rifle.

Best sling ever
My first sling had a rubber band weaved into the material so it didn't slide on your shoulder which was really nice. I loved it because I could hook it over the top post of my pack and distribute the weight of the gun to my hips. It makes getting through the brush much easier because you can use both hands to maneuver through. Much quicker to get ready to aim because no need to pull it off your should just lift and shoot. I have these for my for kids as well and we all love them. I will never use a different sling again. It took some serious looking to find this on Amazon. The first one i bought was at sportsman the second third fourth fifth and sixth one at cabelas and now they don't carry them so I was excited they are on Amazon. This would be a number one seller if hunters knew about them in my opinion.

Worst Hunting Experiance Ever!
The sling was easy to install, though, it doesn't tighten around the stock as described. The rear loop kept slipping off the back of the butt stock, & allowed the gun to rotate upside down.I could figure out a way to resolve that, but I will never use it again. The weight of the gun totally rests on your neck, I had to hold the sling away from my neck just so I could keep my head up & looking around, & to relieve the ache & stress. If that wasn't bad enough, the edge of the webbing totally trashed my skin. I developed actual abrasions from the edge of the sling. No exaggeration, it made for the worst hunting experience I have ever had!

Great functional Sling, not comfortable
I like the functionality of your product. I used it for 9 days and causes me to have upper back & neck pain. I think it needs some kind of padding added to it. It’s great to use just not comfortable after a couple hrs of use.

Best sling ever.
This is my second safari sling. I got the first one for my muzzle loader about 10 years ago and absolutely loved it. I got rid of all my other slings and just swapped it around from shotgun to rifle to muzzy. I bought that first one from cabelas and never could find another one. It only came in black at the time. Now I have it in camo to match my shotgun. I have missed deer because of slinging guns over my shoulder and they jump and run before i could react. Since i got that first safari sling I've shot 3 deer that i would have missed otherwise. Keeping your gun at the ready at all times whether you are just walking, using gps, peeing, texting... Anything, Can make all the difference between seeing deer run away and dragging them back to your truck. Im not saying you will be able to hit running deer without skill and practice but you get a little more time to react to startled deer. Easy to adjust, comfortable, and also use it like an old school sling if you want. The strap is wide like a seat belt so its comfortable. Adjusts easily and falls out of the way when you pull up to shoot. It does take a few minutes to get used to but you will wish you had one years ago.
