This was a gift and I am told that it works as described and that the recipient is happy with it.

We got this less than 6 months ago, and it already stopped producing mist. Doesn’t matter if we set it to warm or cool, or what level set set it to. It blows out air, so the fan is still working, just no mist. For this price, it should work for years.Also, even when working, the “warm” setting isn’t truly warm. It’s maybe a few degrees warmer than the cool, so if you’re expecting steam on the warm setting, look elsewhere.

think we're sending this back for replacement and see if it's just this one the lights all shut off!now it's dropped price $10 and we have not even had ours a week!looks nice, puts off a lot of mist but the way this one runs the water will need changed out and tank cleaned before it's half empty and the big tank was a big reason for choosing this one but I have breathing problems and can't take a chance it is throwing mold or such back in the air from water sitting too long in the tank and bottom reservoir!gave lower stars because of the lights turning off totally and water seems to be in tank to long and don't want to have to keep emptying it and not letting it run till it needs water again as this is why we wanted a big tank.!

This humidifier has an interesting double role of warm and cool mist technology. This sounded like a great idea as there are times when I prefer warm over cool mist and it would be great to choose with one device. The cool mist mode uses about 10% of the power of the warm mist mode so it's a great energy savings option.The first time I used the warm mode I got a little suspicious of the tech. When going into warm mist mode you get mist immediately just like on the cool mode. All my past experience with humidifiers has warm mist take some time to warm up and begin producing mist. It appears this is always using the ultrasonic cool mist mode and then adding a small heater that has the cool mist getting warmed up more so than the traditional hot end boiling water. To me, this is NOT a true warm mist humidifier and in situation where I want the warm mist I will stick to my old humidifier. However, this is serving daily duty for my main living area in my home. I like how it has the auto mode to maintain a 50-ish percent humidity in the room when it sits. I would much prefer if there was a digital set point to choose a humidity level, but at this price point I'm fine without that feature.One odd thing was that my air quality sensor on my air cleaner triggered to a higher PM2.5 level running this humidifier about 5 feet away.Overall, I'm happy with this cool mist ultrasonic humidifier. I am removing one star for the pseudo warm mist mode. This seems helpful for dry winter air. I have it on my side of the bed. It's very quiet, doesn't bother either me or my husband when we are going to bed. If I use the heat function, it does use water more quickly. I always check it before I turn it on, and I've never let it run dry, so I'm not sure what happens if you let it run out of water.My only complaint is that the remote and the buttons are pretty loud. If I turn it off when I wake up, I'm always worried I'm going to wake him up haha. Also, you have to press power twice to turn it off-first it turns on the display, then you press again for power off.

When the colder weather begins to kick in, I start having issues with my sinuses. Each change of season, like clockwork, I suffer from burning nostrils and minor headaches. I've tried humidifiers. However, they've all been cool mists. I never realized that they came in a warm mist as well. Thus far, I've resorted to my dad's amazing solution: boiling a pot of water on the stove. Cool mist humidifiers have never helped me.I decided to try this product, in awe that warm mist humidifiers exist. I was kind of skeptical, especially since the warm mist isn't as hot as boiling water is. After a couple of hours, I felt the difference. I like how I am able to easily control the humidity level and temperature. It is much more efficient than a pot of water, which eventually would make the room sopping wet if not watched. This is a great product. It is simple to use, especially with its removable water container, which thankfully holds a lot of water. This is the best humidifier I've ever used. It is such a blessing.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the product, and the only reason I haven't requested a refund is because I don't have the time. This does not match the advertised description, and the only thing you will notice is that it is turned on. It's not worth it.
