This is heads and shoulders above the regular thickness pizza stones, including the Weber one. I use it on a Weber Genesis grill at 500 degrees or more and the results are superb. I also baked oatmeal-honey bread on it and had good results. It was a good investment in superb pizza crust.

I love this stone
I love this stone. We use it on our grill and it cleans up easily. I even repeated the test they show on their website heating it up while wet and after washing with no issues. I like the square because there's room for error on a big pie when you're sliding it off the spatula. Plus, it doesn't roll when you store it on-end. My only regret (all my fault for getting the thickest 1.5 "industrial version) is it's heavy and a bit of a pain to move, and it takes time to heat up-hind sight 20x20, I think 1" would have been just as good and easier to deal with...If you're using it at home, it's really not necessary to get the industrial version - save a few $, save your back and make it easier to put away when not in use - get the thinner one.
