Product OK, does the job
Not the best electric knife, but has 2 different blades, which is a bonus. It is a good product all round.

Rubbish!
I purchased this knife to replace a 30 year old Kenwood, thinking it was past it.I sourced various reviews and came to the conclusion that this Wahl electric knife, although not the cheapest would do the job. How wrong i was. Firstly i tried slicing a home made loaf of bread. The weight of the knife pressing on the loaf failed to cut. I applied some force to get it to cut and in doing so i could hear the motor working under load. Very disappointing. I was wanting a slice and it turned out to be a wedge. I checked the other blades thinking i had fitted the frozen food blades but no, i had the correct blades installed. I tried cutting another slice of bread but it wont cut unless excess pressure is put on the knife. All a could manage was wedges of bread and a lot of bread crumbs. I moved on to a chicken breast joint. Same again loaded motor to get it to cut. The end result was "hacked" slices of chicken. I could have done a more presentable job with my chainsaw! By putting excess pressure on the knife to cut, it loads the electric motor making it work harder therefore overheating and shortening its life. The blades are not the correct pitch and sharpness for them to cut properly.Thankfully i still have my old Kenwood that still does a better job.Strange that James Martin has put his name to this junk, then he obviously has never used it. I will certainly stay away from any of his other recommended products. One other thing, the mains cord is too short.

Disappointing
Hi, I found this very disappointing. I had a prestige make before this and it was brilliant. Sliced meat nice and thin. This one I felt tore at the meat and left tearing marks, not good at all. I thought that with James Martin putting his name to this it would be much better than it was. Shame really but this is not worth it.

Do you want to play a game?
You can saw through anything with this. You could probably carve up a corpse with it. Not that I would condone it of course.

sharp blade
it is nosey and the blades are getting blunt already

Doesn't cut cleanly
We tried to cut roast lamb and all it did was shred it.
