This is a quick be helpful read. If you're looking for deep theology, this isn't the book for you. This book is thought-provoking enough to get you moving in the right direction if you're ready.

Straight to the point. I have heard this information before in different books and articles but the way this book brought it all together was terrific. It was a quick read which is also a plus, but also enjoyable to read as well as helpful.

Some really great advice that could actually benefit many areas of life. I am chewing on some ideas for my students.

This is one of the best books I have read on habit changing/building ever. Joe really wrote it in a clear and organized manner, easy to read while still getting very deep and effective. It’s a quick read but life changing. I have been recommending it to everyone I know. You won’t be disappointed.

I really enjoyed reading this book! It helped me to understand how my brain works in order to focus. What was most helpful was learning about habits and the holistic approach to focusing. I feel like my time with God will have less distractions once I apply these principles.

Joe has given wonderful beginning steps for those of us who have tried and failed to develop regular disciplines. He does not give us what to do but great understanding in accomplishing that which we believe we should do. Thank you Joe.

This was a very through provoking and practical read regarding how to establish discipline in all of life. An easy read and well worth the time invested.
