Best Water Pressure Regulator
I love this regulator. I've been RVing for over 35 years, and have used many regulators. Twisting the cap is so much easier and faster than the older screw method. This is a great device!

RV Water Pressure Regulator Valve, Brass Lead-Free Adjustable Reducer with Gauge for RV
I'm new to RVing and I'm still trying to figure out the ropes. I have a camper van that I am working on to be completely self contained. Until then, I'm relying on RV parks with full hookups and that means having to use a water regulator when hooking up to the water supply. I was happy to find this one because it's easy to use. Not as important, it looks like I know what I'm doing lol. I've seen smaller ones that are lighter/easier to store, but I thought going with something more substantial would be better in the long run. The price point tracks with other regulators of similar quality. Approximately twenty-nine dollars at the time of this writing, it's a tad higher than a name brand one, depending on where you purchase it. Overall I'm a happy camper!DIVANC RV Water Pressure Regulator Valve, Brass Lead-Free Adjustable Water Pressure Reducer with Gauge and Inlet Screen Filter for RV Camper Travel Trailer, Reducer Valve FilterASIN: B0CH1BKB38

Does what it should, adjustment is very easy
This is a review for the "DIVANC RV Water Pressure Regulator Valve, Brass Lead-Free Adjustable Water Pressure Reducer with Gauge and Inlet Screen Filter for RV Camper Travel Trailer, Reducer Valve Filter".Device received as pictured, even with the odd-looking "air bubble" at the top of the gauge. It seems to be some fluid other than water in the face of the pressure dial, and the "bubble" remained throughout my test of the device. It does not hamper the ability to read the dial.Use is as simple as expected, I fed from my water supply, and connected the output end to a hose and sprayer, to store and release the pressure (this device does not appear to have the ability to actually bleed water out to reduce pressure once it is already built up, but only to prevent the pressure from building beyond a certain level - I did not see any obvious point where water could be ejected from the body of the device anywhere). Thus, if I adjusted for a lower pressure, I would not see the pressure drop until I sprayed some water from the hose, and when releasing the spray lever, the pressure would then rise back to whatever the new limit was set at.The apparent lack of ability to bleed water out to reduce pressure does concern me a little - if the internal pressure regulation mechanism leaks even a little bit in use, and if no water is used in the target system (like your RV) for a long enough period, I suppose it is possible that the pressure could eventually rise above the setpoint, causing the overpressure damage that such devices are intended to avoid. But, I did some research on this and apparently it is common for pressure regulators to be designed without any such bleed valves. So, if you ever notice your water pressure rising beyond the pressure point that you set after no water is used in your RV for some period of time (also noticeable by a brief moment of abnormally-high pressure when first turning on a faucet after a long period of no water being used) - then that would be a sign that your pressure regulator is faulty and needs to be replaced. I guess if you want more absolute protection, you could install a separate pressure bleed valve with a setpoint somewhat higher than your pressure regulator will be set at.....The pressure gauge dial does not respond immediately, it might take a few seconds after shutting off the sprayer for the dial to read the actual pressure, this might be from the high viscosity of whatever liquid is in the faceplate. Not a big deal, but it was initially unnerving waiting for the pressure reading to settle (my last pressure gauge read instantaneously). The adjustment was very nice, easy (especially compared to the one it is replacing, which needed a screwdriver to adjust it). Pull up gently on the handle, turn it "+" or "-" (indicated on the knob), then spray a little and wait for it to settle on the new pressure reading. Press the knob back in to lock in position (can't remember if it returns to the locked position by itself). I was able to set it down to at least 15 psi (didn't try to go any further), and up as high as 60 psi (my city water doesn't appear to be any higher than that).Of course at this time I cannot say anything about the longevity of this device. My previous regulator, I think it was an "RVMATE", came out of hibernation after the first year with the dial starting at ~40 psi before applying any water pressure (not sure if it was freeze damage since it was left in the cold weather and I don't know how much water remains inside after use).

"Required" for all RVs
Anyone who owns a motorhome or travel trailer should have a water regulator. Unlike the welded, soldered, glued, and screwed plumbing in your home, RV water systems typically have tubing held together with clamps. High pressure (anything over about 40 psi) can lead to leaks and bursts that cause expensive damage. While most RV parks keep pressure below 50 psi, I have visited a few that hit as high as 75. Yikes! The pressure regulator I carry in my motorhome is six years old and nearing retirement. What a great time to test out this one from DIVANC. It came packaged securely. Instructions are simple, clear, and basic. Operation is just as simple. I know my current regulator is accurate (within a couple psi), so I compared the two.The instructions say it comes from the factory set to 45 psi. I checked mine when I received it, and it was pretty close. There is one point where I take issue with the instructions. It recommends adjusting the pressure after connecting the water hose to the RV. If the regulator’s PSI has not already been set to a safe setting, doing this risks damage to the water lines in the RV. I strongly recommend adding a garden water shutoff valve between this water regulator and the hose. The photo shows both the DIVANC regulator (on the left) and the shut off valve that I added. (Amazon and most garden centers have lots of them.) That allows setting the pressure - with the shutoff valve closed - to a safe level before exposing the RV to any water pressure. This is not a flaw in the DIVANC regulator. Rather, it is just my extra-cautious self with regard to that one note in the instructions. After testing - and comparing results with my current regulator - I find the DIVANC regulator to be sufficiently accurate to be safe. It was consistently within a couple PSI of my current regulator. It is also easier to set than my old one. I find it rugged enough for me to toss in my RV storage without much thought. I gave it five stars because it was well-packaged, arrived timely, is very-well made, and does everything it claims to do. I have now added this new one to my RV kit and retired my old one.

Great regulator with reader
This pressure regulator works great for hooking our TV up to city water. The reader is nice to have, to see what we are hooking into, as any water system can be different pressures. Just like other regulators, you don't need to do anything, just hook it up in your water system line as directed. You can rest assured you RV lines are protected for excessive pressure and the damage that would cause. The pressure regulator is a great price for important protection.
