I purchased these for hiking/emergency whistles for a Cub Scout den- I needed a lot, and this entire pack was the cost of a single "survival" whistle.First holding them, they are super light which made me a little concerned, but there is no flex to them and the plastic seems solid. Also, they are loud, more so than I expected and definitely usable for their purpose. The only negative is the lanyard ring is small- string or thin cord would work fine but I had some paracord and that was just too thick to fit through (though it did work when I gutted the core strands out).

Not the best but serves the purpose
Works like a whistle. I don’t care for the sound they make, first few times I heard it I though a camper was screaming... definitely gets you attention though!
