Caution, not 'reasonably strong'!
Barely 1.5mm thick and snaps 'quite easily' by hand, so good for timing up your sweet peas but no good for heavier duty functions - I only say this as my last year's green twine was 2mm thick and impossible to break by hand. In this case, the saying ' The quality is remembered long after then price is forgotten' , springs to mind , but neither was this cheap at £4.99!! Regrettable purchase.Update - after using about 5m of the chord ( doubled up) I found that it became stronger than that of the first 5meters, to the extent that it did not break easily by hand. - possible reasons - the outer wraps started to biodegrade or UV light weakened it!! Hence upgrading it a star to two.

Great for indoor plants
This twine is the ideal thickness and shade for my Mother-in-Law's-Tongue houseplants in the conservatory. I have three which are very tall, taller than me , in fact; the twine gives plenty of support to the very tall leaves whilst remaining largely unnoticeable.I am delighted with the result and also with the price - 5 stars!

It's string, but good for tying tomato plants to stakes
Mainly bought this for tying up my tomato plants to stakes. Have now started to use it for training roses over a walkway. good, strong string. Bought 2 pack, and will last for years. You might only need one of a small garden.

String Garden Twine
Used this to tie up a large conifer to prevent it splaying out in the wind. The previous twine I used disintegrated quite quickly, so hoping thhat this, which seems better quality, will do the trick. Will also use it later to secure my clematis plants to supports.

How small is a ball off string!!!
These balls of string are so tiny they actually measure just over one inch in diameter and three and a half inches wide. This is not indicated in the pictures at point of sale, I feel that I have been ripped off.

Good quality and lots of it
Not much to say, this is decent quality string and is strong enough to handle whatever you might use it for. There is lots of it on this spool so even if you do want stronger string just double or triple up and it could handle all reasonable uses.

This does exactly what I bought it to do tie a rose to a crawling frame it arrived promptly and I. Very satisfied with it highly recommended

Just ideal for garden jobs
This garden twine is a must for the garden shed. There are always little tasks that this can be used for. Mostly we use it for tying up drooping foliage.
