Incredible change in old batteries
I have an old EZGO golf cart that I use for errands and work at home. Our property is approx 20 acres. Before installing the Battery Life Saver desulfinator, I would drop 4 bars driving a trail that follows the perimeter of the property. After about 6 charges I can run the perimeter trail 2x with only one bar down. A great improvement. I imagine more improvement to come with continued use.

Easy mount, clear instructions.
Straight forward installation on a 1993 EZ-GO golf car. I mounted it under the reversing switch where there was room for it. Used thermal paste to give it to make use of the metal panel to dissipate some heat. One caveat to installation is to keep in mind that there is a support bar along the base inside that you need to take in to consideration when locating where to drill the mount holes. I barely had my holes high enough to mount the heat fins base flat up to the sheet metal panel. The only drawback I see is that the LED status light should be replaced with one that offers more side illumination. Currently the LED focuses the light forward and is barely visible from the side. Because of the location on a vertical surface I could not tell if the light was on in daytime despite being shielded from direct sunlight. A mirror was needed to determine if the light was on. Cannot say if it will help the batteries yet as they are already in good shape despite being 4 years old.

Auto shutoff is too low, and it gets HOT. Update 1
So far I don't like it. The first time I used it, it sucked my 36 volt cart batteries down to 27 volts before the "auto shut off". I don't use my cart often. With most EZGO carts, you have a smart charger. When the battery voltage is so low, it won't turn on. I had to un-wire the batteries, pair them up in 12 volt pairs, and charge them for 2 days with my car battery charger. I'll have to come up with my own low voltage cut off, or figure a way to wire it so it's only on when the cart is charging, or when it's in use. I have not used it long enough to tell if it actually conditions the batteries. I do know that it draws close to 1.2 amps (DC) when it's working, and it puts out a pretty wide range of rapidly changing high and low frequency AC, so it should bust up sulfates and sulfites. Oh, it does get too hot to hold after half an hour of use, so be careful where you mount it.Update on 12/20/2013. I solved the low voltage problem by using my cart more often, and installing a solar trickle charger/maintainer. Comparing battery condition to what it was before I installed this Battery Life Saver, it's made a noticable improvement, so I'll up the star rating from 2 to 3

So far, so good
How well this performs will be something that time will tell. The idea of using these is well proved to extend battery life. I just bought new batteries for my cart and wanted to protect my investment so I bought this based upon a variety of expert reviews. This model is nice in that it will automatically "shut itself off" when the charge level drops, so it won't completely drain your batteries like some others.Installation is very easy. The LED shows you that it's connected and working. I'll say that one thing positive is that the company that makes these contacted me about a defect they discovered that supposedly could make it inoperable. As they described it, it was a component that didn't meet spec. They sent me a new one at no charge. This leads me to believe that they take their product seriously and stand behind it.I only have about 6 months use, but looking in the battery cells I see no signs whatsoever of any sulfating. This is the type of item that it takes a long time to evaluate. I can't speak to the "rejuvinating" capabilities because I started with new batteries. So far based on all the above, I've given it 3 stars. My gut says it will perform as advertised, and I'd it rate it higher if I had that evidence of time.

Give it time to work
I installed this system a month and a half ago. My six-year-old golf cart batteries were on the way out. The BLS has now given me extra life on these batteries. Since batteries are so expensive now, the BLS is well worth the investment. Remember, this is not a quick overnight fix, but takes time to work.

BLS-36N
I recently purchased two (2) used golf carts, after charging them for 16 hours, the units had little power. The specific gravity of the batteries was 1.175. Was uncertain of the manufacturers claims. Purchased one (1) unit and cycled the batteries from charged to discharged several times, the batteries now read 1.3. There was a noticeable increase in power and duration of power available. There is a hill where I use the carts that the first time I drove up I thought I would have to push it, now the cart travel the hill 5 times is succession with a 1 mile rolling hill cruise, the batteries were not depleted. The charge times have also reduced greatly. Anticipate that it will only get better. The directions state it may take 3 - 15 cycle to restore the batteries. I just purchased a second unit to install on my second cart.

Have bought & used this item previously on one of our golf carts in which the batteries were reaching their life expectancy & beginning to show weakness. Use of this item made a noticeable difference in the batteries & helped to keep them serviceable for many months until the cart was ultimately sold. That experience led me to order this most recent purchase to install on another cart but there has not yet been sufficient time to evaluate its effectiveness. However, I anticipate that it will add significant time to the life of the batteries in this cart as well.

So far so good!
It definitely draws power from the batteries. After using for a week, my batteries also measure about 1 volt higher when completely charged up. When charged, they would get to a top voltage of 38.7 volts, and now they are consistently over 40v total. That's a great sign.
