We love the simplicity and the weighted bottom. Very nice amount of light for its size and holds its charge for a long time. I bought four of these after eating at a restaurant that uses them at diner's tables.

My friends paid $129 for a similar light from another place. We had dinner at several of their homes, and really liked the diffuse and beautiful dinner table lights that they had. BUT, when they mentioned the "designer" price tag ($129 x 2 for a pair) ; well, my wife and I said later on, going home, that we don't need to spend that kind money. I was shopping on Amazon, and they had these type of lights. We ordered them, kinda doubtful, and they are perfect. They look, act, feel, perform great. We would buy these again.BTW, when people come over for dinner, we tell them about these on Amazon.

I am already buying more because this gets so much use. Perfect for any space that you need a light but don’t want the cord! Dimmable feature is also handy because it makes a perfect night light or reading light. Holds a decent charge and lasts over night and into the morning.
