Sizing is very deceiving when thought of as a dinner plate . Not suitable for that at all .

Pretty and functional
Super cute and functional. A good value that I used with higher price point napkins by Meri Meri to control cost and get the same look.

Fabulous!
Omigawsh- I am so impressed with the look and quality! I love that the colors are all coordinated and they're so unique and fun. Definitely going to make these my go-to for all my get togethers.

Design is pretty. However
Design is pretty. However, it is not big enough to be considered a dinner plate by any means. I attached a photo of my hand on top of their dinner plate, and then I attached a photo of the dessert plate on top of the dinner plate, its almost the same size. Like I said it looks cute just not practical for a dinner plate. We are keeping the dessert plates, will update once we use them on the sturdiness.

Very pretty, out of the ordinary plates, but not the most practical. Three-and-a-half stars.
The 6" x 8.5" plates are small - roughly the size of half a letter-sized (8'5x11) piece of paper. particularly cake or something that sticks to the plate without falling off. I think these look a little better in the photo than they do in reality. What I Like:— I love the oval shape and the gold edge.— They are a nice size for a couple of appetizers or a dessert - a little will fill the plate, so that can be an advantage if you want a little bit of food to look like a lot or otherwise don't want people loading up their plates.— They are sturdy enough for most foods. What I Like Less:— I was expecting the sides to be a little higher, probably because most paper plates do have rims of sorts. These are quite flat and the edges are only slightly curved upwards, so it's a little easier for food to go overboard than on rimmed plates.— Rims actually make paper plates easier to hold and they keep your fingers above food level. I feel as though it is too easy to stick your finger into the food, and particularly any sauce that may on the plate, with these.— if you do choose to use these plates for the look, you have to plan the food you are going to be serving accordingly. This is obviously not a great choice of plate for any round-shaped food like meatballs or berries. Salads are probably not ideal either.Bottom line: The idea of making paper plates look fancier and a little out of the ordinary is a good one, and these are pretty, but they are definitely form over function. Three and half stars.

A small, dainty, slightly-elegant, baked good party plate
FYI: This is NOT a dinner plate (I knew that when ordered), but the title is misleading. The outer rim size is 8.5" long x 6" wide...the sides gently slope up, so technically, the flat surface in the center is more like 6" long x 4" wide. The color and "look" is very very pretty. Mine are a true shade of "mint" - with the gold trimmed rim. These plates are not sturdy to hold an abundance of snacks, appetizers...I'd equate their firmness like a manilla folder...maybe a tad stronger. The sides do slightly curve up, giving the center section a bit more stability. Very smooth surface...dry "edibles" could easily slide off (i.e. chips, nuts). Baked goods would fare better. But this definitely wouldn't handle a lot of food/weight. I would choose them for a "girl" get-together with baked goods and beverages. Truly - the mint with gold trip and it's size are very sweet.

Pretty, pretty, mint green plates with gold trim. Only for dainty snacks.
These plates are 8 inches by 6.5 inches rectangular shaped with gold trim. They are not too strong, certainly not like Hefty plates. I think they're great for appetizers, light weight snacks like crackers and cheese. I wouldn't even recommend them for a thick and heavy dessert as they're too dainty and may fall apart. These would be great for table décor at parties where everyone admires the food but the ladies are watching their waistline and no one loads up a plate! ;-)On the plus side, they're very pretty and perfect for a Spring baby shower, wedding shower, or a day time party where light appetizers are served. The pictures show some artistically arranged macaroons on this plate, a good serving suggestion for these plates, and perhaps a cracker with cheese on the other side. So pretty!

Very Pretty But Not Nearly Large Enough
The plates are decent quality and do look good. I wish I could give them more than 3 stars just for their aesthetic value, but unfortunately they aren’t very practical. They are nowhere near large enough to be used for dinners (or even lunches). They do make nice appetizer or finger sandwich plates, but that’s about it. If you’re looking for attractive plates to serve small finger foods at a gathering for guests these are very nice (albeit pricey for the number you get). If you’re looking for actual dinner plates, these won’t be what you’re looking for.
