Got two, very happy with them.
These work great. I tested a web cam, mouse, and SSD on it, with two couplers, and two cables between this device and my StarTech hub (doing an in-wall project). The webcam was working flawlessly while moving data to the SSD at 400MB/s.I knocked off a star, because as others have said, the USB2 ports are a bit loose. Strangely the USB3 port is tight and snug. I just pinched the ends of my device cables a little bit before pushing them into the ports on this device; they stay in snug. I don't really find this to be a big deal, but they could have just made it "right" and avoided this fuss. I'd also like to see the USB3 wire have a little more flex. It's a rigid flat wire that only flexes one way or another; slightly larger than its USB2 counterparts. A round wire would be nicer.

Cheaply built.
The 2.0 ports do not make a solid connection to a device plugged into it. The USB-C port only charges when it's plugged in facing away from my phone, when it should go either way, as is the nature of USB-C. The only upside is the 3.0 port is solidly built with a tight connection.Looking at getting a refund.

Loose USB 2 ports
USB 2 ports are very loose don't have any resistance everything just slips out

nice flexible adapter for new notebooks
If you get a new laptop and you have a need for USB jump drives you will need something like this. This one works well but is on the cheaper side. the packaging leaves a bit to be desired but the product itself works well.I would recommend this as it seems to function on MacBooks as well as PC based systems.

Works well for Note 8
Great connector, works with my Note 8, allowing copies between USB sticks and similar devices. Can't vouch for voltages and the like or USB3 speeds, but it's pretty quick when in use, and works well. Also tested on my HP desktop with a USBC port, and worked there as well.

Blocked the headphone jack
The design has some problem. I will not be able to use headphone, because it's too big and blocked the headphone jack.
