In event of a power cut (no matter how short) , the unit cuts out and has to be switched on again when power is restored, so it's use may not be appropriate if connected equipment is critical and unattended.Otherwise has been useful although the arrangement of the power outlets can cause problems - if unit is mounted flat on its base cable exits from plugs are vertical.With 6x13A sockets and 2xUSB sockets unit has been very useful.

It's a good quality extension socket and works very well, not had any problems so far. It's sturdy and will not break easily and is perfect for plugging multiple plugs. It's a good size and the extension is long. Doesn't make any noise.

I bought this extension lead for use in cutting the grass and trimming the hedges. I have used it for both and it is perfect for my needs. The plugs for lawn mower and hedge trimmer fit this extension lead and the lid closes to keep it secure. ( I wouldn't use electrical equipment in wet conditions for safety sake so don't know if it is waterproof). After use it is easy to wind back onto the frame and hang on a hook.
