Functions great for hot and cold drinks as advertised. The other feature, the temperature display on the lid is basically useless.

It will leak if you don’t twist top on super tight and the degree to tell how hot tea/coffee is way off! The bamboo is modern, but done not keep my tea hot allday either. I would not recommend for personal use or gift.

The tumbler works great for tea, but the display has come loose in the top and there is not a way to get to it. update: the seller offered a full refund for this issue.

I'm really enjoying using this! It's the perfect size for tea and keeps my tea at a good sipping temperature. It holds the temperature for a loooong time. I left mine overnight by accident, opened it, and the tea was still warm!! If I don't want a lot of hot water, I place the canister on it's side for steeping, otherwise the tea infuser above won't reach the water. It is leak proof as long as you thread the lid on the correct way. I did it wrong once, and now I know not to do that after soaking my tote with water. It would be so much better if the digital display could have a switch to change to Fahrenheit. It only shows Celsius unless I've missed something? I have no idea how to change the batteries, so that's something I'll have to look up. Really great value for this tumbler and giftable!My co-workers are envious of and intrigued by my Bamboouood tea tumbler. I have portable tea that doesn't get cold during long meetings...Perfect!!4/8/24 UPDATE: my temperature LED display no longer works. I can tell it fell somewhere inside the top, because I can hear it rattling around inside. I believe whatever holds the LED display up to the dark plastic of the lid does not hold up to high temperatures. This is an essential part of the novelty of the tumbler, so I am removing 2 stars from my original 5-star review.

The Bambuood Stainless Steel Smart Bamboo Tumbler w/LED Temperature Display is a great value. For the price, you get a wood-colored bamboo tumbler, screw on lid with LED temperature gauge, insert, tea bag holder/strainer, and packaging. I really love the design - it is sleek, stylish, and cool. The temperature gauge is easy to tap on and off. My only con is that due to the design and the battery in the lid, this can only be hand washed, which can certainly get annoying over time. But, I cant see a way to design around that if you want an LED temperature display in your cup. I would recommend this product to others.
