OMG, REALLY? - WHERE WAS THIS WHEN I WAS A KID!?!
The unit works best on smooth surfaces. It does great with lifting Lego’s, Lincoln Logs, and moving toy barrels, etc around. The quality of the design and plastic are stout. That is not to say that you can drive it off a cliff! This is a toy for kids to learn and problem solve. I love things like this that can inspire children and give them a non-consequence environment to experiment and build confidence.Yes - it is noisy. However, the sound effects are optional, and can be disabled from the remote control. But that’s part of the fun. VROOM VROOM, and all...Relax, grandma - just wrap it and ship it. Everything you need is in the box! Them grand babies are going to love it!

Great toy!
This is a really neat toy. My daughter loves playing with it. Great movement, great response time to the controller. A great item for any kid that loves to play in dirt. Very fast delivery and all around a great product.

Fun but cheaply made
Even as an adult this thing is fun to play with. Having said that it is pretty cheaply made and wouldn't stand up to any rough play with kids. You get a skid-steer type control with two sticks forward to go forward and one forward/one back to turn for good maneuverability but it's very jerky with no option for slow movement. Some buttons on the controller are just plain fake and a little insulting they they're there at all. There are buttons for up/down but they pretty much do the same alternating effect. The forks are just a rotating mechanism that constantly move them up and down so you have to stop at the exact right time for them to be all the way down; a problem when "all the way" is just barely far enough to get under the pallet. that with the jerky movement makes this a bit of an adventure to move and not just knock things everywhere. Another annoyance is that the battery compartment has a screw which is a pain when trying to switch out the rechargeable battery packs. It looks fun, and is a bit, but there are enough downsides I wouldn't recommend it.

My five-year-old loves it!
This is a toy that my son plays with almost daily ever since he got it! He adores it and he’s in this phase of construction vehicles, so this was a no-brainer for us at this price point also. If you’re looking for a gift or a toy that is similar to this one I think that this would be a great grab!

Fun and so realistic
This toy forklift is ready to use right out of the box. It includes all necessary batteries and a USB cable for charging. The package also includes a pallet, two barrels, a bundle of logs, and a lifting arm. However, the arm's hook was broken in the box. The forklift lights up and makes sounds when turned on, but there is a mute switch on the controller. The controller has simple and intuitive controls for driving and lifting.
