Walnuts in Shell, Fresh, 2017/18 Crop Jumbo Californian , Raw in Shell Walnut 2 LB BAG

Extremely fresh and every nut was a good one. The ones in the grocery store are black inside sometimes and you have to throw them away. These were all fresh and all wonderful! Wish I could still get them but they are unavailable now :(

Terrible. Nuts are old. Two were so old they'd shriveled to nothing. I bought them because of all the positive reviews. They don't accept returns.

Most of the nuts are good, except there are a few here and there that are black inside, but mostly good!

Some shells were cracked exposing the walnut inside. In other cases, the walnut inside was darkened. In other cases, the walnut inside tasted dry and "sour." I have had much better from a specific product not sold by Amazon.

Not only are the walnuts fresh but the shells are so tender that I really enjoyed cracking them. Excellent quality, best walnuts in the shell that I have ever had.

I buy bulk walnuts for my parrot from the grocery store. They are out of season so I thought AMAZON! He will NOT eat these. I put a fresh one in his feed dish daily and he will not have anything to do with these.
