I write this review because, on behalf of my wife, I am the person who ends up having to remove all the tangled hairs and gunge that builds up on these brushes over time, and this particular brush is the best, and easiest to clean, that I have come across so far.In the past my wife always went for expensive electric hair brushes, made by all the leading brands, supplied in fancy packaging, and offering extra facilities and extras, which in reality are rarely, if ever, needed or used, and just hike the high purchase price even higher.The folding Electric Brush was chosen initially for use when we travel on cruises, as its folding facility helped make it very compact at a time when all packaging space is at a premium. However, once in use my wife was very impressed by its overall performance, and found that it did the job every bit as well as all the other expensive heated hairbrush/ rollers that she had used over the years. As a result she has now bought an extra one for home use and is saving the other one for our holidays away.From my point of view cleaning is a absolute doddle. Just remove one screw holding on the head cap (in two parts, plus rubber seal) which when taken off allows all twelve strips of plastic spikes to be slid out for cleaning. Place these in a bowl of warm water, add washing up liquid, leave to soak for a few minutes, then brush clean with washing up brush, or nail brush - then re-assemble.One final, important, point I would mention, is the fact that the metal screw holding the head cap in place actually locates into a permanent metal screw way in the hair brush head. This should mean that regular taking apart for cleaning will not be a problem. Whereas if the screw was just locating into plastic, which applies to many things these days, the plastic would soon fail to hold the cap securely if it was being removed on a regular basis.Overall this is truly excellent, understated, product. It is very well made, works perfectly, is extremely compact, easy to clean and pricing is extremely competitive - what more could you ask for? Would recommend 110%Food for thought - I feel the manufacturer is missing a point by not mentioning the ease of cleaning advantage in their advertising spiel.

Good product works well on my thick long wavy hair
