My toddler gave his approval right away and loved to play with this. So much track to keep him busy, easy for him to assemble on his own, very well made toy and a great value for the quality. Great gift idea for any occasional.

This track is easy to assemble, like the huge selection of similar ones available on Amazon. The big difference is that the track WIDTH in which the battery powered cars must travel is only 1.8 inches. The cars that come with this race track set fit just fine, of course, but if you want to buy extra cars, every option I found required track width of 2.1 inches -- i.e., available add-on cars will not fit this product's track. You'd be better off to buy an entire extra one of these 1.8" tracks+cars (and you would have extra track, too, to expand the size of the race track).

When putting it together the truck cage snaps on it broke, large dinosaur does not stand up and train with coal car does not stay on and the small dinosaur fall out of it. I would probably would return it but my grandson wanted to play with it anyway.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a fun Dinosaur Race Track. The Dinosaur car and the train have excellent power. They each take 2 AAA batteries. The battery compartment screws closed with a tiny screw, for safety purposes since small children may play with the track and cars and batteries can be dangerous. Both the Dinocar and the train have colorful blinking headlights to add to the fun.The track clicks together easily. It’s cool how the “cars” can go thru the big truck.The big truck can be played with separately. It can hold the dinosaurs in the cage on the back of it. It has a cool gate like the Jurassic Park gate. It freely swings, so the cars can bust thru it if you push them closed.The cats came to investigate and it entertained them too.I would be interested in some more track for this fun set. It seems well made and the cars zoom along. The dinocar is faster than the train. It catches up with the train even if you start it way after the train. Train is a bit faster when it isn’t pulling the cart of coal, but the car still eventually catches up with it.This is probably most fun for the younger years of the age range. With more track, it would likely continue to be fun and the endless track ideas could grow with the child or children. I hope the maker realizes what a great toy they have and offer some more track to go with it.I recommend it. It would be a great birthday gift for probably ages 3-6 or 7.

I got this delivered and the box was a lot smaller than I expected by the picture. Tracks went together easily and everything is good. The quality I thought could have been better but little kids will enjoy nevertheless. The battery operated cars work well. Overall, a good little toy set just expect it to be smaller than it looks.
