I was looking forward so much to this book being published - and it didn’t disappoint! A great guide, beautifully illustrated with high quality photos. The text is inspiring: because the approach has been to explore some of the lesser known parts of this area, it encourages discovery of wee gems that not so many people visit or know about. It’s a cracking part of the world, and this book reveals some hidden delights. Excellent.

Usual size travel book like Lonely planet (tick) and covers East Scotland (tick) which many seem to miss but if being honest this is rather expensive in comparison to the usual travel books of Scotland which are usually around £9 - bar that it compliments the others I have to create a personalised 2 week tour for next year and why i drop 1 star.

Love these guides really detailed

Very well written and a real Slow Guide to this area pointing out so much more than the obvious visitor targets.
