I am inspired to write this because this book is a gem and shouldn’t go unnoticed by any sincere seeker. I really loved the simplicity of this book in explaining an esoteric subject as meditation. Every concept of the heartfulness meditation practice, its tips and tricks are spread out in simple terms before the reader by this loving guide without any secrets being held back as was the tradition in ancient Guru-disciple relationship.I have been meditating for a few years now and I should say that I learned a lot of minute details from this book which I was not aware of but which could improve my practice manifold. The examples given here are also very practical that we can easily relate to and hence flows seamlessly from start to end.Overall, a must read for anyone contemplating meditation, a good starting point for beginners and also a great tool to move ahead for pros. Thank you for this wonderful book!

The authors have illustrated the practice in a layman terms and made it easy to practice. The practice steps are carefully crafted to aid individuals from all walks of life to focus on reality and peek through illusion. Resulting ability, "not to pay attention to thoughts" is the key element of the practice and is accomplished in a natural way with the use of yogic transmission as a catalyst. As described, the regular practice helps practitioner to develop and improve discipline, will power and discernment necessary for success. When practiced sincerely, this way leads one to internal peace, wisdom and to wonder. Spiritual Wisdom Weaved Into Modern Day Practicality
I have read several books on spirituality, philosophy or mysticism like Autobiography of a Yogi, The Way of the Sufi, In Search of the Miraculous, The Way of Zen, Apprenticed to a Himalayan Master, Tao Te Ching and many more. They have all been amazing accounts of authors' own experiences or their way of thinking. Not only I enjoyed reading them, but I was also able to summon their teaching in my own life at occasions. However, when I went through The Heratfulness Way I realized what I was missing so far was to have a simple and practical way to enable myself to have such experiences that I admired from others.The book is filled with dialogues between Joshua and Kamlesh (Daaji) which are like pearls of wisdom scattered throughout the book. Through this medium of inquiry, I realized we also keep questioning our beliefs and understanding and see them in a better light. It helps in bringing more clarify and getting rid of biases that we may have accumulated consciously or subconsciously.And as they say, reading a book alone cannot transform us. When we put Heartfulness Way into practice, we realize how simple it is, especially with the aid of Yogic Transmission and we start moving forward on the path of our own experiences.

Informative and entertaining!
I work in healthcare and hear people talk about their stress all day long. Sometimes I suggest meditation as a means for increasing health and wellbeing. A lot of people express some confusion about how to meditate. Others say they try and meditate and feel that they have failed because they are not sure about what they are doing.The Heartfulness Way is a great resource for learning meditation. It helps answer a lot of questions about the “doing” part of meditation. How to sit, what to do with thoughts, the best time of day and place to practice. The stories and conversational style make it an easy read. It is a great book to recommend to patients, clients and friends who want to learn a simple meditation system.

A simple and enjoyable read of a profound meditation practice!
I really liked this book for its simplicity in explaining seemingly-complex concepts. It also reveals new paradigm on many aspects of meditation.I have been meditating for a while now, but sometimes stumble when explaining meditation to others. The abstract concepts are to be experienced than understood, however for many, understanding is the first step to exploring and experiencing. So, I was pleasantly surprised to see how the conversations in the book naturally distills all aspects of meditation and other unique elements of Heartfulness practice.I would recommend the book to anyone, whether s/he is interested in meditation or not, practices or not, adept or new. Each one for sure is going to take away a valuable lesson or a life-changing experience.

An amazing and outstanding book among the timely literature on meditation ...
An amazing and outstanding book among the timely literature on meditation and its increasing need in our distracted and externalized living conditions. The role of heart when it becomes free of burdensome tendencies created by our excessive external orientation is brought out beautifully. The book is easy to read but is full of insights and wisdom so the reader feels early on that it is written by someone of high attainments. It will appeal both beginners wanting to know more about meditation and its need in modern life as well as experts in meditative practices for its deep insights in the nature of journey. Inspired to meditate more regularly!
This conversational style of writing was very helpful to me as I could see myself in the place of Joshua as a seeker, having the same type of questions and wonderments about meditation and yoga. The most important are the tips to reduce anger, anxiety, improve calm and focus. Also, the explanations about the relationship between the nerve plexus of the heart and the duality of emotions was splendid. This helped me understand how to achieve balance in our emotional state, which is a pre-requisite to enjoy higher levels of calm and longer duration of peace. I am more motivated to meditate daily and thanks.

Overwhelmingly simple answers to probably most important questions of life.
I have rarely read a book by a contemporary author that conveys such a deep understanding of man and life in such a incredibly simple and illuminating way. One feels that the author is not just a theoretician, but speaks of his own very practical experiences. In this book the ancient tradition of yoga shines in a promising new light. By giving very simple methods, the book invites the reader to put books and theories aside to embark himself on a promising mystical journey.

Read this book, if you know that the divinity is within you.
When I started practising the heartfulness meditation about 12 years ago, I was completely unaware how much it was going to influence me. It has simplified my thinking, living and approach to the world much beyond my comprehension.Some books can introduce to a new subject, some others can help to improve your knowledge, few can inspire and rarely can one sow seeds of knowledge for germination in the future. This book in my estimate can do all the above and more perhaps.The style of the book is a conversation between a teacher and a student, in the style of Upanishads, Gita and Plato which is very inviting to the reader and takes you through the practice and explores the gems of this raja yogic system which has many unique extraordinary hidden features. Readers are asked to come and experience the life changing, simple and non-demanding meditation practice which will take you the realms far far beyond anything comprehensible in our mundane world.I have read the book once and will read it many times to reap the extraordinary effects all the heartfulness books have on people who learn to read them, the heartfulness way.Also this book clarifies the Asthanga yoga in the light of the Heartfulness way for the first time. The feeling role of heart is very well explained and so is the role of the mind in a spiritual practice. Pranahuti, of the system, which is worth more than anything else in this world must be experienced to be believed.Spiritual journey is well charted and guidance is available without any fee.Now the man has a unique opportunity to explore the divinity within himself and I believe he will slowly find the Way to it.
