The thimble I forget to take off
Love these. I have large clunky fingertips & finding a comfortable thimble that doesn't get in the way has been a journey. Got these to try for quilting... This is now my go-to thimble for all my handwork. It allows me to work more naturally. Unlike some thimble styles this gets more comfortable the longer I sew/quilt wearing it & I often forget it's there after awhile. It doesn't fall off while answering door or other brief interuptions either. Can be readily adjusted for size, & to accommodate any shrinking/swelling. Fits to fingers very well. But on an off day, Can be padded with a bit of friction tape on finger (ask at a real hardware store - its usually in electricians section. Is a lifesaver against blisters, etc, while allowing callous to form)If you are like me & maybe catch thread in the prongs when sewing overcast or blanket stitches at a good speed - just a wrap a piece of the tape around the prongs & thimble body, & no problem!

The Simplest Things Can Lead To Chaos
What is there to say about an item like this? I was sewing a “Mr. Robot” patch onto a brown Dickey work jacket -yes that Mr. Robot, exactly like in the TV series- and I’m not someone who sews anything really. This was hand crafted sewing. Very slow, pushing a needle through the tough edges of this identical patch replica, and through a dense jacket. I simply couldn’t do it without a thimble to help get the needle through the fabrics. These thimbles are really well designed and worked perfectly.I now shock people all over town when I wear this jacket with a tan baseball hat and a plaid scarf. Folks think I'm part of The Dark Army. And actually, I am. Hacking E-Corp? That’s the realm of TV. Hacking Facebook. Now there’s a worthy goal that would benefit us all.Resist!

Very adjustable
I like the idea of this. Thimbles typically never fit all that well. This does better, but the brass isn’t as malleable as I’d like.

Keeps my fingers safe
I upgraded my knitting needles to a lovely stainless steel ChiaoGoo interchangeable set from wooden knitting needles. I tend to use my pointer finger to push the finished stitch off the needles and adjust the next few stitches My poor finger started getting sore. I started looking for a timble or some sort of finger cover and decided I'd rather have a metal one vs a silicone cover which tends to make my fingers sweat. I normally fit size small in dish washing gloves, but opted for a size medium since it was adjustable. It fits my pointer finger well and it didn't take more than 10 min to get used to having it on my finger. I've worn it for about half an hour at a time and it's fit comfortably and lets me knit without worrying about pain.

Not for everyone
The quality of the product is good in itself, but I found it hard to use. I saw this thimble in a video and decided to try it. I guess it's a matter of personal preference . I'm not a big fan of thimbles but felt I needed to try it for some sewing I was doing but ended up not using it after all. I found a thimble that had a flexible shaft and just a metal end and that worked better for me.

Great for long nails!!
I love it! I have pointed, stiletto nails and can’t use a normal thimble, and I also have small hands. This thimble fit my finger perfectly! It feels very secure, and I appreciate that there’s also a guard so you can’t get a needle up under your nail! I might just give all my other thimbles away!

Can I give it ZERO stars??
This is how the product arrived to me. Maybe it’s me, but I don’t appreciate the fact that I have to now pry the prongs up and straighten them, if that’s possible. On second thought, nope, it will be returned and I will purchase somewhere else. Very annoying…
