These candlestick holders look beautiful in person! They have a lovely traditional design, and looked amazing when I used them for a dinner party.I have used candlestick holders which only work with one specific size of taper, and anything smaller will wiggle/lean, but this one is very well designed! The receptacle itself tapers, so the candlestick I used was smaller than the maximum width but by pressing it in, it held very securely and stayed perfectly vertical/snug with no issues.The base is wide and has a lip, so there's no risk of wax drips getting on the table.The only drawback (and the reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars) is that these holders did feel a bit lighter than expected. This would usually not be an issue, but I did find that when someone moved the table or shifted the tablecloth slightly the tapers wobbled - if the base were heavier, this would be less of an issue.Overall though, I am very happy with these elegant candlestick holders!

The style is simple, but effective and I find they blend in with different table settings. I will be using them on my Christmas dinner table, so they have made the grade.The quality is good, the style is good, the durability is good and the price is reasonable, so for me, this is a good value set.

Ces 2 bougeoirs noir mate sont très élégant. Ils ont un style vintage tout en se mêlant parfaitement dans une déco d'intérieur de style romantique/campagnard/chic. Ils sont fin et légè tout en étant de bonne qualité. Je n'ai pas l'impression qu'ils puissent s'abîmer facilement. Quand je les utilise avec de très hautes bougies, je prélève un tout petit morceau de pâte à fixe, que je mets de part et d'autre dessous les bougeoirs, pour ensuite les placer là où je désire en effectuant une légère pression pour que la pâte adhére et ainsi, il n'y a aucun risque qu'ils tombent.
