7 year olds have been enjoying these for a few months now l. They are well made and help the kids grow their imagination.

Bought these for my nephews (5 & 7). They loved the camo look and wrist band concept. They’re a nice weight, fairly easy to use and had a decent range. The clock and date are easy to set but also easy to inadvertently change. There’s a nice feature to double press the orange ‘call button’ to find the other child. Flashlight button needs held down to stay on so it doesn’t wear down the charge. Didn’t have much luck with the compass. Would recommend them for 5 to even up to 12 years of age.

I bought these for my 8 year old grandson that loves to be a spy and his mates play too. He gave one of these walkie talkies to a friend down the street from his house and they can actually talk and hear each other. I would not have believed it if I had not experienced for myself. I know they are not that expensive and I read some not so good reviews on these, but I do not agree. They may be inexpensive but they work. See for yourself.

Great product for kids. My son absolutely loved the walkie talkie feature but also having the watch function like a watch with a flashlight on it made it even better.

My son loves these and plays with it all day. Needs to be fully charged though.

I brought this for two young boys for Christmas this year, and they absolutely love it!!!I love that they are chargeable, and they were just an amazing present for two inseparable brothers.

These have a lot of nifty little features, that will provide some fun for younger recipients; but, they aren't very useful beyond a few meters based on usage. It's possible the ones received are defective; but, everything else except range on them seems to be up to par for a gift for young kids. These were used on a trip with some Boy Scouts, and, their limitations became evident quite quickly.
