I'm 185cm tall and it is the right size for me. I've used it to build my raised beds. The only downside is gravel can get stuck around the place where shovel is attached to the handle. Otherwise I'm very happy with it after 8 bags of soil and two bags of gravel

Bought this shovel for moving over 20 tons of top soil in the garden.The item has proved to be reasonably well made, however I did notice that the blade had bent slightly over the week when using it. This was fixed by bending it back. For shovelling loose material - ie graded top soil, sand and gravel it works well. I tried using a shorter standard handle shovel of similar blade dimensions and weight for a while and found that my lower back was aching, so the longer handle does seem to alleviate lower back strain. Overall a well made item - just don't try shovel anything compacted with it.

I'm a big fan of Fiskar's kit having used a lot of their products and never been disappointed. This is no exception. It's strong, light and ideal for shifting large quantities of soft material (soil, sand, gravel etc.) They've obviously put a great deal of thought into the design and the angled head is a stroke of genius - why aren't other shovels similarly constructed? It really does help reduce back ache when shovelling. Not the cheapest but almost certainly one of the best!

Brilliant shovel. Light weight and the long handle makes moving heavy loads easy. This is the second one I have bought. The first one was tough but broke away at the weld after too much heavy and inappropriate use. Makes heavy shovelling significantly easier. I recommend it unreservedly despite my ability to break one.

Bought this to dig out 10 tons of mixed soil,Then shovelled 10 tons of type one and 5 tons of sharp sand, I'm 6.3 and this is the first time I've ever shovelled without back ache, it's strong and light and just brilliant to work with. 10/10

LARGE shovel...just wish this was a medium size shovel, because this would suit a giant.The seller told me that they don't have the medium size shovel available, so I checked other websites...but still no luck, just showing the large shovel on all searches.This shovel scratches really easily, thus losing two stars... the painted finish is not very resistant to gritty dirt.
