We have one smaller cat weighing about 9 lbs and one a little bigger weighing about 14 lbs. both got inside and slept. We have not taken them out in it. We plan to get another because both will not fit in this one. Good and sturdy material and easy to lay flat for storage.

Easy to assemble and great for big cats

This carrier looks much more comfortable for my cat than the hard plastic one. Being made of fabric it's much more comfortable to carry as well. It's pretty sturdy and doesn't bow on the bottom with my 11lb cat in it. It has less of a prison atmosphere than other carriers. You can open it up to have more visibility for your cat with different windows are let it stay darker inside. There are pockets on the side to carry other items with it. The inside has a stiff board on the bottom that is removable and it is covered in carpeting. The only downside is that this carpeting gives the cat an area to grip and claw when trying to pull her out at the vet.

The media could not be loaded.  There’s A LOT to commend this carrier, especially at an unbelievable $29.99. The thing is really well made and thought out. And if you have a small cat or dog, this carrier is a luxury condo. If you have a big cat like my boy, Axl, the carrier is… comfortable. It has all the bells and whistles of carriers of this design, all of which are at least four times more expensive: like multi-vented, scratch-proof mesh windows, sherpa-like cover for the lounging area (which is removable and unzippable from the hard interior to be washed), pockets, interior leash, etc.I’m not going to enumerate all the benefits of this carrier because they’re well described on the Amazon site — and all true. But there is one thing I don’t like (but if you read the rest of this review you’ll see it ends up being a benefit), which is that unless both side door are zipped up, the roof of the carrier falls in.Yes, I use carriers to take Axl to the vet and to the groomer. But what I really look for in a carrier is if that carrier will be good for airline travel. Uff.TSA will ask you — insanely — to remove your cat from the carrier. Right. I’ll be scarred for life and I’ll never see Axl again. ASK FOR A PRIVATE ROOM, they have them. In the room, you can hold on to your terrified cat while TSA inspects the carrier.The carrier will “almost” fit under the seat in front of you. This is when the only issue I have with this carrier will become a benefit. Because the carrier doesn’t have a hard frame, you’ll be able to squish it under the seat for take off. Afterward, you’ll drag the carrier out and open the top. Your pet will thank you; and because he’ll be wearing a harness that’s attached to the convenient “leash” inside the carrier, your pet will stay put and take a nap.My boy, Axl, is 15 pounds so the strap on the back of the carrier is great. You’ll attach it to your luggage through your airport travails, or you’ll get a cart designed for these things. GREAT CARRIER.

Well made carrier. I've only taken 1 cat to the vet in it so far, so i can't speak to durability. The floor is very sturdy for a collapsible carrier. And it doesn't feel like a "bag", or soft, like a lot of the collapsible carriers do. The option of being able to open up the covers on the sides will be nice for longer rides, or keeping it closed of the animal is stressed.Zippers and handles feel well made and sturdy. Provided or holds up for awhile, this is a winner.

This is a great, versatile carrier. It's constructed well, and I like that it has a cover for the mesh windows - though I wish there were one for the front door as well. Sometimes it is nice to block out all outside distractions to make kitty feel secure. I just drape a towel over if I need to. The inside padding seems comfy. In fact, I leave the carrier opened under my bed, and my girl takes her daily afternoon naps IN the carrier, so she likes it. It's a good value and quality for the price.

This carrier is an excellent value for the money. It literally has it all. It is compact and at a compact price! I was first attracted to this as a carrier for our cats because I loved the light rosy- pink color. A superficial reason, I know. But it is much more than just pretty! This carrier is sturdy, holds its shape well, is convenient with multiple modes of entry for pets - top, sides, whatever. Zippers are smooth and sturdy, and there are several modes of ventilation. The top flap can be fully down for maximum privacy, the top can be used to insure sun shade while allowing good views and excellent ventilation, or the top can be rolled back for maximum viewing and ventilation. A soft fluffy mat is also included. You also can carry the carrier by its handles, secure it with a seat belt in a car, tuck it under most airplane seats for travel, and even use the attached strap to secure it over the handle of your wheeled luggage. And did I mention it is pretty!!??Size wise, this size fits both my 6 lb cat with lots of room, and my 12 pound cat with definitely adequate room, if not really spacious for her. This is a good investment on all fronts!
