As a long time user of scrub daddy sponges, I wanted to look for alternatives that were close to as good as them for financial reasons. These sponges intrigued me because of all the previous good reviews here.Pros - Has great scrubbing power but safe to use on ceramic cookware. Durable, suds up quick and cleans well. Changes with cold and water just like my beloved scrub daddy sponges! Color coded so I can use a different color for different purposes (i.e. blue for dishes, orange for bathroom sink, etc.) Good value. 4 sponges for an unbeatable price.Cons - However, as someone with small hands, I find them difficult to hold when washing dishes. They're just as large and thick as the sponge daddy. Because there are no holes in the sponges, there's nothing for me to use as grip. I can't count how many times I've almost dropped a glass cup or plate because I was trying to not drop the sponge.But I figured out a solution... I cut one in HALF to try. And it worked amazing! Not only is it loads easier to grasp a hold of, I can also get it into a tumbler or cup due to its narrower size. I did consider cutting holes in the center, but I'd definitely butcher it and it would be a waste.For cleaning my sinks and other spaces, I use them at their full size because I can clean larger surface areas quicker.Because of all the pros and my "solution," I will definitely repurchase these sponges and use them for cleaning my entire house.4.5 stars but 10/10 recommend

I was excited to try these as I am a huge fan of the popular name brand version of these. However, I was kind of disappointed. The sponge side is fine, its more of a foam than a typical sponge material. These don't really soften much in hot water and the scrubby, abrasive side left a lot to be desired. Even with a lot of elbow grease it just wasn't doing as much as I had hoped. It feels really plasticky and like you're just kind of rubbing it around the dirt rather than scrubbing it off. It did the job eventually, but not as easily and as thoroughly as I would like.Overall, its definitely a sponge and can be used as such, but if you're looking for a dupe to the well know alternative, this isn't it.

This two-sided sponge comes in handy for mild cleaning jobs with the foam side, and for tougher cleaning jobs the coarser side comes into play. You'll probably still need some sort of scourer for the heavy duty jobs, but this sponge works just fine for most things.

These aren’t as good of quality as the original scrub daddy. The scrubber side decays a little more quickly, and tends to crumble when it’s time for a new one. For a household of two, that cooks with at lease one pan 6 days a week, and using our dishwasher for mostly everything- this will last us around 6-7 weeks. My boyfriend does our nightly dishes so he will like to extend this out for 2 months before I trash it and replace it. I would say, overall it’s a good value pack, but I still like the scrub daddy’s better.

Sponge is ripping apart after one use. Just get the scrub daddy.

I really like these round sponges with their two tones and two textures. They are a good size where they feel pretty comfortable in my hand. They’re wide, but they fit my hand where I can hold it pretty easily while scrubbing pots and pans. One side is good with creating suds and foam for cleaning dishes, and the other side is much firmer and is very suitable for scrubbing out pots, pans, and other baked on dish ware. Both sides seem very durable, and it reduces my need to have two separate sponges.

The cleaning power of these sponges is very close to the name brand sponge of this sort. The sponge is harder when cold, and soft when hot water touches it. It really gets off the grime and stuck on bits of food. My only complaint is that the two sides separate within only a few scrubs. I did cut each sponge in half because they are pretty big. Too big to really be able to scrub with.

The sponge material is unique and soft, and it never tears or gets that gross sponge smell after a while that others get, even though I ALWAYS clean and dry my sponges after each use. And the scrubby stuff on the top doesn’t disintegrate like other sponges and I can actually rinse the food particles out of it easily. They also last for a really long time, I’ve had my one three pack for at least all year. It’s embarrassing how excited these sponges make me but they’re just so good.
