He's 7months and was a little timid if the water, but after he got his new life jacket, he's unstoppable! He loves it! The only reason it gets 4 stars is because the little fin doesn't stay up to well; It falls over when he's swimming. It fits him well though, he's about 70 pounds now and I got the Large, and he will have room to grow with this! It's really a fantastic product, minus the fin falling! Also, the handle on the back is a fantastic idea! Very helpful! Watch my video

I haven't used this yet but it could double as a costume because it's THAT cute! I have a 28 pound Boston Terrier and I got a medium, I think I could have gotten away with a small though. The little fin stays upright which was a pleasant surprise! I'd highly recommend it even if it's just for cuteness.Update....I did take him to my friend's pool and tried it out. He was a little too terrified of the water to prove its effectiveness but I still give it 5 stars.

The large is a perfect fit! I originally bought a medium but my girl has grown so I had to return it. My husky is 57 lbs, height is about 21 inches and her length from nose to tail is about 36 inches. I hope this is helpful as I also look to other reviews for this info myself. The material feels well made and the shark fin kinda flopped to the side because it came packed neatly. I’m sure I can figure it out how to make it stand more but I did buy this vest mostly for her safety. I can’t wait to try it out on the lake in July when we take her paddle boarding. So I’ll update my review then for how it does in the water. She loves the water but I want to feel extra certain that she will be safe. She does look adorable in it though!Update (4/4/19): I have used this vest on my girl a few times and it does the job. Shark 🦈 fin still flops but as I mentioned before, I really got it for safety reasons. The handle makes it easy for me to help my pup back up onto our paddle board after she jumps in for a swim.

The life jacket is great. I bought this for my 7 monthly old corgi and it fit her perfectly. The material is great quality and the straps provided enough room for her to grow into this life vest and wear it while she gets bigger. The vest dried pretty quickly after taking it off of her and leaving it out in the sun. The only issue that I had, which isn't really with the vest, is that when placing my dog in the water she would swim for maybe a few feet then she would tip over and I would have to either pick her up or straighten her back out. I think it maybe had to do with the fact that she is still small but it kind of threw off her buoyancy. Overall this is a great product and I am hoping that as my dog gets bigger the buoyancy issues wont be that big of a deal. Definitely recommend this life jacket just keep and eye on your dog if they aren't used to wearing a life jacket.

Our bulldog is a bit over 60 pounds (she's got the density of a dying star) and so I ordered the large. Fits almost perfectly with the straps on the tightest setting. Probably could have gotten away with a medium, but it looks great! I don't think I'll be able to lift her with just the handle alone, but I wouldn't expect to, considering how heavy she is

I ordered a large, for my 48 pound dog, which is rated for 33-72lbs/ 15-33kg. it fit fine, the production quality was good but the buoyancy was dangerously inadequate. i slowly lowered my dog off the back of the boat and into the lake, trusting the jacket. it seemed ok but as soon as i let go my dog SANK and i had to jump in and rescue her. she was terrified and is now traumatized and will not go near the water. the description quotes "the jacket is Perfect Buoyancy And Security: Pet Life Jacket showcases a flotation solution to all water sport activities for dogs. Neck, belly and back float provides your dog outstanding buoyancy and security." this is UNTRUE and poses a danger to all dogs from the mid to high end of what they say it will support. Amazon you should investigate and take action as pets could easily drown.

Love this! Ordered a size large for our 7 month old golden and it fits perfect on the tightest setting with plenty of room to grow into it!
