The Story of St. Faustina
I bought this book for our parish library a couple of years ago, and took time to read it recently. It is a quick, easy read for an adult, and I think that kids 8 and up will have no trouble reading this. It is very well written, giving interesting details and stories from St. Faustina's life. She was born in 1905 and lived until 1938, and Jesus told her years before her death when she would die. This story is so inspirational, I wish I could get every kid I know to read it. Reading stories of the saints and their struggles helps kids realize that everyone struggles, and the importance of praying and to just keep on trying. If you are an adult and read this book, you will want to read more about St. Faustina if you haven't already done so.
