Put 2 of these together in one hour. They're made with durable pvc tubing, which is where the vinyl pad that your dog sleeps on slides into the channels on the pvc tubing. There are 8 bolts, nuts and washers to screw the corners together making it very simple. The 4 legs come with rubber inserts that keep the bed from sliding. These might be more expensive than other beds here, but their durability and ease of putting together, makes it worth every penny.

My bloodhound can destroy a normal dog bed in seconds. She finally ripped her Kuranda, but it took her over 3 years! I gladly made a repeat purchase. These beds are so durable, easy to clean, and easy to assemble. They are the perfect bed for a ‘digger’ or ‘chewer’.

I am in the process of getting a bed for each of my "rooms" in my boarding kennel. Almost every dog that has one loves sleeping on it. I like them because we get some aggressive chewers and these hold up to those who gnaw on them. It's pretty much impossible for the dog to get ahold of the material so they are unable to chew that. I order the heavy duty vinyl because it is strong enough for our hefty sized guests and it is extremely easy to clean. These beds are super easy to assemble (I put them together by myself in about 10 minutes per bed). They will need occassional tightening of the nuts and bolts, but that is no big chore. One of my complaints is that the rubber feet should be made out of the pvc piping because some of the dogs will flip the beds over and chew them out. My one other complaint is that these beds are pretty expensive, but they also do not need to be replaced like cloth beds may. I reccommend these beds to everyone who has a dog.

My pup and I love these beds so much, I bought a second one. I have the aluminium bed in my pups crate with the shorter crate legs. My pup recently outgrew his downstairs bed, and I did not hesitate to replace it with a Kuranda. For this one, I went with the Almond PVC frame. Assembly was quick and easy, and all parts well made. The elevated designed is also wonderful for warm dogs. Even through the topper, it remains cool. If you have a large breed dog and want a bed to support their joints, do not hesitate to pick up this bed!

This is the second one we've bought (for a second dog) and they are literally the best. Easy to assemble, comfortable for the dog, easy to clean and TOTALLY indestructible.

I bought these Kuranda beds after much research and consideration for my two Dobermans' kennels. The one is a growing puppy and has been taking out some frustration on the bed. So far, after three months, no issues. The legs are a little chewed up, but it is still holding up just fine. I would purchase these again, assuming the warranty is easy to cash in on if needed.Edited to add: One of the vinyls ripped in December 2014. My dog incessantly dug at it.Edited to add: Other vinyl started to look rough in May 2015. More digging.***I called Kuranda and they sent me out two brand new vinyl replacement sections free of charge under the warranty since I was still within the year. All I had to do was sent them pictures of the issue with the beds. VERY HAPPY with their customer service!***

My lil guy doesn't like his kennel area, a 4x4 foot space for a 3 pound dog...So this bed worked out nice to help calm him down. Its PVC construction is nice, and the vinyl bed support slides nicely into a groove designed in the tubing. I actually left the legs off so my lil yorkie doesn't have much of a hop up. I put a comfy bed on top and he is much much happier. SOme days I find him asleep in the bed when I get home when in the past he would be barking for freedom. If he is left too long and pees, this bed is elevated so not the target of his relief. IF it does get a bit wet, its easy to clean, or dismantle and really clean. I was initially put off by the price, but after having it a few months, I know it was worth every penny.

Our trainer requires that you get a raised bed 4" off the ground to train for a "place" that you can tell them to go to and the rules of the training are to keep all four paws off the ground. They recommended this company and then it was just a matter of deciding how big our stray Border Collie GSD mix needed. I went with XL since it was near the dimensions of his crate. He voluntarily puts himself on this bed because it is comfortable. We can tell him to go to bed and he knows now, after a lot of training, that he is required to stay on the bed until released. The only downside to this bed was in assembly. First of all, we were missing a bolt, which is a problem since it holds the legs on and the vinyl fabric taut. Thankfully, my husband's stash of parts had just the right size. Secondly, when trying to assemble the last corner, the holes and sides were not lining up and the fabric was wonky. It took my husband shoving the screwdriver in the hole and pushing the screw into the right spot and me putting the bolt on as quickly as possible. This did cause the hole on the underside to enlarge so I'm not sure how long this will last until we find it creates problems. It's been a week and a half and it is holding together okay so far. I think this issue is a problem with the manufacturing not being exact enough. Hopefully this is the only time this has been a problem as we might need to buy another bed given how much this one is getting used. My dog loves it! This bed is a great way to get your large dog off the floor and makes things easier on his joints, young or old. Easy to assemble and easy to clean. I only needed to add rubber feet so the tubes didn't mark the floor.

Love this product and the price was great as well. Super fast delivery! All my dogs want to use it and it has held up great.
