I just bought this product. Extremely disappointed. As soon as I opened the package, I smelled a very strong sulfur smell. Real Huang Qi should smell odorless，but taste(chew) like beans. I have cheated by another seller. The reason to add sulfur is keeping from mold. Sulfur is very harmful to the human body. When you decide to buy Huang Qi from this seller, be aware.

I have never had this before and didn't know what to expect. I combine it with Calendula flowers for a warming tea. I had it the other day without the flowers, it was nice but unusual. I couldn't place my finger on what it tasted like. I had my college age son try it and he told me I was drinking bean sprout tea. Ah yes- that was it, lol.

When I bought this 250 grams package, I am thinking about giving it at least a try since the price is very competitive comparing with other choices. When I received the package, I found this is really high quality stuff! From its package, It explained why the price is cheaper, e.g., this herb came directly from farmers to its consumer. When I used this herb to make soup with lamb meat, it turned out pretty good! Really high quality herb, and will definatelly buy it again!

The right ones are those I bought from a Chinese pharmacy. ($10/8 oz) The left ones are the ones that I bought from this buyer. ($14.99/8.8 oz). The size is small. But it does not smell like sulfur-free.

Its real Astragalus root, very beneficial to strengthen immuno system, fibromyalgia, arthrities and somnolence, works very well, i grind myself then add to salads or smoothy ,has a sweet taste.

There are great tasting herb! I that it is working after a week, i.e. getting stronger less tired. Thank you!
