batters worked well with water pick
I purchased these batteries for my mom's water pick - they fit perfect! I had never heard of these size batteries before my mom needed them. I was glad I found the batteries - with a great price - you cant go wrong! Thanks Amazon!!

Great buy
These batteries work better than the Duracells we compared them to.

Value priced AA batteries
For many uses, I prefer Amazon Basics rechargeable batteries, but there are some situations where the device isn't happy with the voltage profile of a rechargeable (typically 1.2 volts) compared to an alkaline (typically 1.5 volts to start) or where changing the batteries is a bit of a hassle and therefore the greater mAh capacity of an alkaline (compared to a rechargeable) is a benefit. For typical uses like the many, many, LED candles my wife has scattered around the house, these provide a cost effective solution. My go-to value priced AA battery choice is AC Delco. These PKNOVA batteries are about $0.12 per battery more expensive than the AC Delco brand for the same quantity, but about half the price of Duracell. The only use for which I have found that value priced batteries aren't ideal is in our smart lock. For this use, I find that Duracell batteries outperform value priced batteries, providing over twice the life that these do. But, since the Duracell cost twice as much as the these, it isn't a cost thing, it's more the convenience of not having to change the batteries as often that leads me to use the Duracells for the smart lock. The other issue / concern with alkaline batteries that remain installed for long durations is leakage. Only time will tell how leak resistant these are.So, I am giving the PKNOVA batteries the benefit of the doubt and starting at four stars, and will update the rating once I have them long enough to assess corrosion and leakage resistance, as well as average life.Other thoughts:I find it interesting that the product page focuses on using minutes as the measure of capacity rather than mAh. Given the wide range of potential power draws depending on the device in which these might be used, minutes does not seem to be a meaningful metric.I also find it interesting that the product title focuses on keyboard / mouse usage, but I see nothing that speaks to how these are optimized for that specific use, and the remainder of the product page speaks to the fact that these are typical alkaline batteries that are appropriate for general use.The batteries are packaged ten to a box; inside the box are are five pairs of batteries, each pair wrapped in clear plastic. Depending on your application, this packaging might be convenient, but for us, it just means an unnecessary additional step to get to the batteries for use.The "best by" date is printed on the bottom of each battery in relatively small print, but it was a full ten years beyond the date these batteries were received.

Affordable ,significant voltage dropoff !
These batteries are moderately price. They appear to be well made . No apparent leakage as of yet.I don't care for the packaging . I received the batteries in an envelope packed in groups of 2. I ordered 24 batteries and I did receive the proper amount but they were scattered throughout the oversized unpadded envelope. There was evidence that the package was stepped on but no damage to these batteries was noted.I have used these batteries in my TV remote and hand held Solitare Card Game. Both devices have shown significant voltage drop off in only a couple days of use.I feel that I will be replacing these batteries in just a matter of a few weeks of use.I make it a point to test the batteries for start up voltage and these exceed the 1.5 volts usely reading1.63_volts or just shy of that. But within a few days (less than a week ) they measure about 67% of the startupvoltage. I do remove the batteries to check voltage periodically on all types devices using either AAA or AA type batteries, thats how I know of the voltage dropoff. One other thing about these batteries there is no expiration date stamped on these batteries , this is(not required) but always good to know.
