It has been an important part of our diet for centuries due to its strengthening and vitalizing properties. We know this fungus under the name "Schillerporling". It belongs to the family of the so-called bristle disc relatives. Its natural habitat is subarctic regions in the northern hemisphere. Its name Chaga (or Tschaga) comes from Siberia or northern Russia, where this mushroom has been used by the local people for centuries.The mushroom we use is a mixture of wild collection and cultivation. The wild mushroom collection comes from Northern Canada. There it is mainly collected by the indigenous peoples living there and thus contributes to their income. The collection takes place in the vast forest areas of northern Canada. This part is mixed with a mycelium part grown on millet substrate, so that we provide our customers with the whole mushroom with its various ingredients.
