Used this carrier on my last road trip, approx 35hrs round trip. It held tight & stayed in place. Not a drop of water inside despite heavy rain. Just remember, it is a soft carrier, it will create a lot of wind noise & rattling above. My gas mileage was significantly reduced but that's to be expected with something on the roof. I found arranging the items, smallest in front to largest in back made a big difference. Overall, easy to install & secure; definitely good value!

Bought for a long road trip from Colorado to Fargo and back. It held up better than expected and held everything we needed.

We got this cargo carrier to use on vacation and we love this. It was easy to strap onto the car and also held a lot of things. It’s a good amount of storage space stays on the car nicely without moving. This was for our vacations. Overall, I felt this was very good quality and was very sturdy. I am happy with this product.

We bought this to use on our vacations and camping trips this year and although it initially looked great, before we got on the road for our first trip we noticed there were several small scratches on the top fabric. After driving to our first destination, there were holes all over the top. The fabric is so thin the wind literally wore through the top. Due to the fact we were several hours from our house, we had no choice but to use it on our return and had dampness and water get inside where our belongings were. Unfortunately, this is unusable now.

The material is thick and sturdy, and this thing made our move across the country possible. With that said, here are some notes:First, if you are using the door hooks on a minivan, you'll have to finagle the door the whole time. The hooks are in the way of the door tracks, so you have to detach them every time you need to open a door. You also have to attach them as you slide the door closed. It is possible though.Second, it's rain resistant, but only when it's full. We attached it the night before we left, and went to pack it the next morning and it was full of water. So check your weather and don't leave it empty if it's going to rain or the water sits on the zippers and seeps in.Third, this thing holds a TON! We put six very large duffel bags in it and it was great.Lastly, be aware that depending on where and when you're driving, it will get bugs on it while driving. It took a bit of scrubbing to clean it. I'll try spraying something on it next time to aide in cleaning it.
