These banana plugs are very nice for the price
These banana plugs are very nice for the price. They are heavy, well made, and work nicely. My only gripe is that the package doesn't include instructions. I'd never hooked up banana plugs to wire before and my first go around I couldn't figure out how to keep the wire from pulling loose from the plug. After watching a few videos about the subject of screw type banana plugs, I figured out that you will want to strip the insulating jacket to expose about 1 inch of wire. When you put the wire through the knurled piece, you will want to twist the wire up and compress it into a ball shape. Then just screw it all the way in and it should stay in place. If it wiggles free and pulls out, use more exposed wire. I used 16 ga. wire and 1 inch works about perfect.

They look great and quick and easy disconnect for speakers!
Honestly these are the first banana plugs I've ever tried, but I don't see anything I could benefit from by paying double for another kind. They are good quality, they fit great, sturdy, and the main reason I got these was for the easy removal and install of my speakers. I do have to agree with other reviewers though that either the screw isn't long enough of the colored washer is too thick that it doesn't allow the screw to clamp down on smaller gauge wire. In my case most of my wires were solder dipped and provided some extra surface for the banana plug screw to grab onto.

Gold banana plugs
These make the job of hooking up a home theater receiver easy. The quality is good for the price and easy to install. The packing is good, they came as advertised. One suggestion use pliers to snug the connection up. Would be nice if there was a way included to label the wires for which channel they are to be hooked to.

An excellent product at a very reasonable price!
These are excellent: I have used this type of plug previously, and I really appreciate the sureness of the connection between the plug and the wire, both electronically and physically. With this type of plug I don't have to worry about an accidental tug pulling the wire out of the plug, and they are easier to attach than the type which uses a small plastic grommet (which may or may not hold securely.I'd buy these again (actually having used these before, I guess I've already done that). I'd also recommend them to friends, coworkers, and family.Definitely recommended.

Wiring up my basement speakers, and bought these guys for low cost and easy installation. Worked exactly as needed.

Connections are everything.
There could be more thread on the knurled screw that secures speaker wire so that smaller guages could be cinched without falling out. And having 28 bananas makes more sense to me, since:28 = 7 channels, times 2 (plus and minus),equals 14, times 2 (there are 2 ends)equals 28. That caveat notwithstanding, they seem pretty well made otherwise, better than most that I've seen and a pretty good value. Head and shoulders above the plastic barreled with a tiny set screw kind that I've used which manage to turn a good terminal connection Into a bad one.

These banana plugs worked great to allow me to hook up another set of speakers to the front left and right channel of a home theater receiver to have audio in another room. The side insertion of the wire allows for a set of banana plugs to be plugged into the back of another set.

Perfect use through side opening.
It is well made with a nice finish but connecting the wire through the center of the plug does not work too well. If you are going to use the side opening to connect the wire, it works great for that. If you use the cable through the center, you will need to take the red or black ring out to get a good hold/pinch of the bare wire for solid connection. Otherwise cable will pull out. I am using a 14gauge speaker cable.
