Beautiful light up nativity scene for the holiday! Easy to assemble/disassemble! Gorgeous lights!

I’ve been looking for a quality lighted nativity for several years now that would not break the bank. This one is priced reasonably and is bright. I like the backdrop of the star and blue rays that help to stabilize the set. Aside from Joseph taking a spill on a particularly windy day, we did not have any issues with durability as we have with other nativities of similar structure. The primary area I would like to see enhancements, however, is the lighting of the characters. Specifically, Mary almost disappears with the blue backdrop, and Jesus is overshadowed by the appropriate lighting on Joseph. Overall, I am pleased with this item, as you get what you pay for, but I am disappointed that the lighting isn’t better. I would not dissuade anyone from purchasing this item as long as you are aware of the pros and cons of the lighting. Next year, I will move this to a different location to eliminate any backlighting that distracts from it to help with the low lights on Mary.

Update 12/25/2023On a positive note, the seller has agreed to a full refund which speaks well for the seller.Unfortunately this is already broken. It gave us a few weeks of use before the metal attachments on the figures completely broke making it unusable. It was attractive while it lasted but ultimately this was a major disappointment, particularly since it fully fall apart on Christmas day (today). Still, I thank the seller for offering a replacement or refund. I chose the refund.Update 12/11/2023I am including photos here. They include a photo of the set on our porch where we had to put it temporarily after it fell. Photos show what the ground anchors look like and other photos show the anchors compared with the ones I am going to use in place of them. finally, one photo shows the connector where I had to insert a small piece of wood to get it to stay in place without slipping out and causing the figure of Mary to fall over. I have now reinstalled the set in our front yard and am hopeful that it will stay in place. If it does then this set could rate a 5 star if the maker would provide better instructions and anchors, etc.Original review:Once put together and set up this nativity set really is beautiful both during the day and night, with beautiful colors and attractive lights, but that is where the positives end. I need to list the short comings. Perhaps, with some minor changes this could be a 5 star set, but I don't think it is ready for prime time but at this time I am not sure we will even be able to use it.1. The instructions are fair at best. We were able to finally get this put together but the instructions leave a lot to be desired.2. The connections of the various parts on the frame are incredibly loose. In particular, the figure of Mary repeatedly fell off. Finally, I had to add a sliver of wood along with the metal piece of the support rod that slides into a receving section to make it tight enough to stop slipping out and keep Mary attached.3. The very thin anchoring pieces that you push over the base and into the ground to keep it flat on the ground readily slide out of the ground. Making it worse is that we have Florida St. Augustine grass, a very thick type of grass and it makes it all the harder to secure the anchors. The first time we had a mild wind the entire set fell over and the figure of Mary completely disconnected. The anchors were scattered about the ground. Fortunately, it still works but we had to put the set back together and place it safely on our porch instead of the front yard while we wait for any wind to die down. The anchors should be much thicker or at least barbed. Alternatively, U shaped anchors instead of straight L shaped rods might work, too.Perhaps placing heavy bricks on the base might help and I will consider that, but this should work out of the box without all the geri rigging.4. It is too soon to comment on durability.5 When it works it is beautiful, but had I known what we were getting I definitely would not have spent the money on this Nativity set. It needs improvement.

When this product arrived I took everything out to make sure I had all the pieces and instructions. It was pretty simple to fully assemble it and did not take long at all. I placed it in my sister's yard as it was an early Christmas gift to add to her current displays. When I plugged it in I noticed all the lights were on except Joseph. I checked to make sure the wires were not pinched, fuses and tried different outlets. Still it never turned on. I sent an email to the manufacturer to ask if I could get just a replacement for the one non working section. I was contacted by email asking for my order# and address. A few days later I received the replacement. It worked beautifully and my sister was thrilled! Thanks again!!

The actual assembly was a bit tricky. Not well made and easy to blow over from wind.

This is a beautiful set.

The colors in Mary and Joseph do not show up at night, and only appear to be white outlines.
