I got two of these gun safes and have been using them for a couple of months now, and we both love them. I felt it was best to have one on each side of our bed for security. Easy to use with code or fingerprint, but fingerprint reader is particular on how you place it. But with enough practice you get it right each time. My only issue is now that I have added a flashlight and laser pointer to my wife's gun it does not fit into the slot very well. I'm hoping that I can cut out a bigger slot or order a different foam insert from the manufacture. Either way this gun safe is worth the price I paid for it.

It opens dependably in a horizontal direction. It opens quickly using digital key entry or fingerprint. It will keep your gun secure from children and houseguests. Its battery compartment is accessible on the back of the safe and a secure key provides a third access method. It does not wobble when the safe opens because the attachment to the mounting plate is very secure. The safe has two slots giving you the option of mounting your gun in two different directions. I use the second slot to hold a magazine. Like its brethren, a few heavy hammer blows would dislodge the safe from the mounting plate. But then, that is not what I expect from a safe that cost less than $100. As you might hope, the installation manual is easy to understand. I expect this safe to prevent access by idle hands of houseguests and kids, not full-on burglars. If this safe lives up to my expectations, I will buy a second safe sometime soon.

Easy to set up and Conceal. Solid build. Response time is average. It works as intended. Simple and Secure Box.. No need to add any other features.. Very happy with it.

This is a nice heavy-duty gun safe. The fingerprint reader works great!

I keep my pew pew in this unit when I get home. I has worked as described. The fingerprint reader took a few tries to get setup. The number pad works fine. It can be a little difficult to tighten the screw into the securing plate. I had to remove the foam insert so I can screw it in.

This is absolutely the perfect gun safe whether you have kids or not. I mounted this to the side of my bed so that I can easily access it if the need arises.Super simple to set up the pass key and the fingerprint sensor as well as mute the beep tones when opening via a the keypad.I tested out the fingerprint sensor over a dozen times and it immediately opened every time which is a relief. Some of these safes are finicky which is a bit worrysome considering the last thing I want is it failing at a time when I need it.I'm very happy with this item!! Batteries are simple to change, 3 ways to access your firearm and the fingerprint scanner isn't " buggy"I highly recommend!

Very good quality. Heavy unit. Love the security of the fingerprint to open it with kids around , secure but quick and easy to open if needed. The other options to open are a plus in case of fingerprint failure. Feel way more secure having this security case now that is easy access instead of a gun safe.

The media could not be loaded.  Installation is fairly simple though I’d recommend using stouter screws if you can. I attached mine to the wall so I definitely wanted large enough screws to anchor into the stud. The installation and user instructions are adequate but could use a little improvement. The vault itself is constructed pretty and the fingerprint key is easy to set up and works well. This vault is designed to be used under a table or desk really and keep in mind, it will not keep anyone out that really wants what’s inside. It will keep out kids and keep your firearms secure and hidden from view. Access is fast and the door automatically pops open with the fingerprint or keypad entry for quick access which is a nice feature. The only real flaw for me is that the rubber/foam insert that holds the firearm is fixed width and not adjustable or removable. It’s perfect to *fit* the gun and an extra mag in there, however, if you have a normal sized laser / flashlight attached under the barrel on the picatiny rail, it likely will NOT fit into the safe. For home security, having access to a firearm w/ a light-laser is a must for me. May be fine for your needs though.
