Created my own desk using a cut down veneered top and used this for the ends. You have to be careful cutting it (I cut to size with a very sharp blade before apply) as it is wood and splinters easily, but very good when you get the hang of it

it probably deserves 5 stars as the errors were my own, but this was a lot trickier job than i thought, so not sure if it is the product or my ability. i didn't have an iron so put this on with a heat gun which worked well the glue stuck the trouble for me come with the trimming, i was trimming the edges with a Stanley blade and a couple times the blade followed the grain and cut past the edge onto the section being covered leaving a crater, the ends were not as easy to do either as the product being wood does splinter a little when snapping , the first one i ended removing and doing again which went on better but still not perfect. fortunately, it is on the bottom of the door so won't be seen, but this is definitely harder to put on neatly then youtube shows, but looked well on the door, will need practice for future attempts

I wanted an oak finish! .. . . This product is white oak . . . In the main product description, it is described as real oak. I can stain it. I would rather not have to . . . and even in one of the photos of the product, a label can be seen as 'White Oak' (I did not see that.) It's a good product and I can make it work by staining, but it is White Oak and Not an Real Oak colour!

I decided to do up our internal oak veneered doors giving them a sand and varnish. However one door had never been finished properly along the hinge edge and looked awful - see photo. Two joiners told me it was impossible to fix. However this product did the trick and it now looks amazing!I followed the tips given in other reviews and flattened the edging out overnight by lying it on the floor with some chopping boards over it. This stopped it curling. I had to hold the edging on with bits of masking tape, the main problem being that ironing over the tape meant it left a sticky residue when removed. Using Sticky Stuff Remover got rid of it but stained the wood so I wiped the whole edging with it. I then stained the edging with medium oak and varnished it. The ironing part was easy, but took a while and made my arm ache as you need to hold the iron on the tape and press. A few edges didn't stick very well and I found pressing a cloth onto the edging tape after lifting the iron did the trick. I am so pleased with the result!

Looks great and is easy to use

Used to edge a solid oak door. Adhesion is very good and trimming and sanding relatively straight forward.

Correspond parfaitement à mes attentes, très bonne colle, chêne un peu mince peut être, mais dans l'ensemble je recommande.

This placed a nice edge to the top of the wall over wallpaper. Iron did good melting the glue. We stained it the same color as the trim. It fits right in.

J'avais besoin d'habiller la tranche d'une marche réalisée en mdf et en parquet bois "chêne vintage". La teinte du chant en chêne est impeccable, par contre la découpe n'étant pas aisée dans ma configuration, j'ai préféré caler pile poil le bord du chant sur le haut et replier le surplus en dessous de la marche .
