This met all the criteria I was looking for
I searched dozens of weighted blankets on Amazon and finally arrived at this one because(a) this is for an adult, and many other blankets are designed for kids and are too small(b) Many other blankets are filled with tiny glass particles. I didn't like the idea that if there were small breaks in the stitching, the glass particles would either move from panel to panel (making the blanket uneven) and/or leak out into the bed, where they could get on the skin, be inhaled or ingested, etc. I wanted a blanket that was filled with larger, inert, non-toxic plastic pellets, like this one.(c) I wanted a duvet cover. I didn't want to throw the weighted blanket in the laundry machine, because it would be hard on the blanket and machine. The included duvet cover is custom fit and fits perfectly. Other reviewers in the past noted the cover was attached using buttons which could break off. This cover attaches using corner and side ties, which should solve the previous problem. It fits like a glove and does not move around.(d) This was the least expensive blanket that had high ratings and met all my criteria above.Quality is excellent, it has met all my expectations above, and we've been very happy with it

Soothing, Cozy, and Attractive Blanket!
This blanket is great! I am 5'10" and 165 pounds, and I have found it to be very soothing without being smothering or too hot. This year I have made it my "resolution" to finding more natural cures for "issues" I am having. That involved starting to wean off my depression/anxiety medications. I had a friend talk about her purchase of a weighted blanket and how much she loved it, so I started doing a bunch of research on their effects and benefits and decided to take the plunge and purchase one. I love this blanket as it came with the very soft duvet color with the attractive design, though I am glad nobody was around to actually witness me wrestling the blanket into the duvet cover! That was a bit of a challenge lol. I honestly do feel like I sleep better at night, it just has a very comforting effect that I really have come to love! I really would say the only cons are that it is a bit on the short side, and the price is higher; however, it seems to be fairly on par with other blankets. I just don't understand exactly why they are so expensive, but I am happy with my blanket regardless! It is very soothing! Thank you!

Just what i needed
I love this blanket. It is so calming for me. So far everything has remained nice and evenly distributed and it is quite comfy. I use just the blanket part in between my sheet and comforter because i don’t care for fleecy feels, but i had happened to need a new lining for my dogs crate and she loves the cover part. She will pull it out of her crate and take it where ever she wants to lay down.
