Basic Tarot Reading
The author talks about how tarot card divination is very widespread and discussed all over the world and in the media. The author breaks this book down into three parts. In Part One, she discusses the tarot basics; Part Two, she breaks down and discusses the major and minor arcana; and in Part Three, she discusses how to read the tarots.I found the information in this book very help. It is sweet and to the point. It is a good reference book to have available when learning to read the tarot for anyone.Highly recommend for beginners.

Thank you for taking out the “woo-woo”!
Real tarot readers know that using tarot for divination is a fool’s errand because tarot will never tell you what’s going to happen in the future, what it will tell you is what you already know but don’t want to admit to yourself, or maybe give you an idea of energies that surround you to help guide you, never to direct you. In fact it has been my experience, as well as other people I know, that trying to use tarot to divine the future will lead you in circles, if your lucky. If your not, you may find yourself tarot tricked, like a fairy from old days, set out to tease and twist you until you either realize the message, or you give up entirely. This book lays out what tarot really is, in realistic terms and ways, and doesn’t try to convince you it’s more than what it really is, a tool to help guide you.I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Very helpful for anyone learning Tarot
I really enjoyed this book it was very informative alot of useful information and I loved how there's card combinations which help and give you a better idea on how to read the cards of course you can't remember every single one of them and it's best to use your intuition but this makes it so much easier it breaks out down to the most important key words. I totally recommend it to anyone who's looking into tarot learning.

Not Much About Intuitive Reading
The book gives a decent overview of the cards. I’ve been using it as a cheat sheet since I started reading it; however, the title is a bit misleading, as there is very little in the book about actually reading the cards intuitively. The author spends most of the beginning telling how this book avoids the “woo.”.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Very Helpful
I have read several books on reading Tarot. This is one of the better ones. I like the bare essentials idea. It is easy to locate a card to check the interpretation if in doubt or for a refresher. I did notice a couple of typos but I hope it is simply because I read an ARC. Otherwise it is a very helpful addition to any library.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
