Huge water bladder!
This bladder is huge! Filled up it would make quite a dent in your backpack, so it's more of a tool to keep around while you are camping or road tripping. You could hang it up or just use it to hold all the water for a group. It does have a handle to carry it with, plus a strap you can attach and use to carry the bladder over your shoulder. It is made of nice materials and looks just like it is shown in the pictures. I gave it only 4 Stars because the small attachments you hook the shoulder strap to seem a little cheap--Perhaps today's high-tech materials allow for lighter-weight attachments like these, but I thought I'd mention it.

High Quality Water Bag
Being a novice survivalist at best I was a bit confused why this looked like a computer bag instead of my preconceived notion idea of a hydration bladder that would be contained by a back pack type bag instead. I kept scratching my head until I realized that it was actually an implicit notion. That notion being to be able to hang it from a branch or anywhere to maximize the communal usage of such a life sustaining asset. It makes it possible to also maximize the usefulness of its quite moderately large capacity as a shower or sink supply if need be.It holds pretty darn near close to 2 gallons of water. That weight can become cumbersome with the shoulder strap over long distances. I would recommend this for the off roader on day or overnight trip for the majority of their drinking water needs, maybe possibly a quick head rinse between a few folks to with a prudent shower attachment or hose to use this bag with. Sadly , it only includes a drinking straw. No other accessories are provided with it aside from strap bag, the bladder itself and the aforementioned straw, however, I imagine a shower/hose would be greatly appreciated if in the future instances were sold in package for future buyers of this product.

Would you want to carry this?
I don't understand how this could be comfortably used to bring on a hiking trip. It's great that it holds a tremendous amount of water and the bag seems like it would insulate it and keep it cool. However, the design of the bag is completely illogical for hiking. From what I can tell, it's meant to be carried on your shoulder or crossbody style. But if you fill the bladder completely, that's A LOT of weight to carry. Also, there's no opening for the straw to exit the bag except to unzip the bag which seems like it would hinder the insulation of the bag. Additionally, there is no clip or holder for the straw for easy access for drinking while wearing it. So you'd have to reach behind you or to your side to get to the straw. I'm used to smaller hydration packs that have a hole through which you can thread the straw and then a clip or some kind of holder to position the straw just over your shoulder so you can easily access and drink from the straw while hiking. You could place the hydration bladder into a backpack and carry it on your back for more comfort and accessibility. So while I think this wouldn't be good to hike with. I do think that it would be very convenient to have with you for a more stationary purpose like keeping it in the car or in your tent/campsite. You could even use it to refill your other smaller hydration packs or water bottles.

Sturdy design and perfect for long term off grid camping/hiking.
This will be perfect for retrieving fresh water from the local springs where we hunt, hike, and camp. It's just the right size that will give us water for the day, for refilling our bottles and cooking. The insulated sleeve should provide plenty of protection for the water bag and the large mouth will make it easy for filling up from the fresh spring just feet away from where it comes out the mountain. Oh I can taste it now!!!The large mouth and cap is also made of a sturdy material that seems like it will last and not easily be cross threaded as many of the cheaply made plastic caps are prone to doing.I also like that the bladder is made of food grade material so there is no or little concerns of leaching. My only issue, remark or improvement would be to make it easier to attach to a backpack or have straps to mounted as a pack. In my case the spring that I refer to is a nice 1.5ish miles in one direction and you have some tricky terrain to navigate. At least from our preferred camp site. I will figure a way to mount it to my backpack but if that thought process had already gone into the design than that would easily make this a 7 star product.Certainly worth the cost and if what you need is a large capacity camp site potable water container by Georgie this is the one for you!

Big water bladder with full support kit
8 liters (Gigantic) of water in the form of a normal water bladder. Probably not best for a slim pack but can work in a large bag or in a bike bag for bikepacking etc. Comes complete with a neoprene insulation sleeve and click lock separable hose with bite valve.

Large water bladder for long hot days outside
Make sure you check the size on this one…it is unlikely that most folks would carry this on long hikes or treks, it is a 2 gallon bladder. It is great for basecamps, car camping, or long days outside where you are mostly in one place…sporting events, range days, etc. I got it to use out of my car to refill smaller backpack bladders or water bottles. For that purpose it is great. The neoprene sleeve that comes with it should give it a small modicum of insulation though I wouldn’t expect it to help much on an August day in Texas or the like. It has a basic shoulder strap with it that looks like it would be very painful carrying the 17ish pounds of water with for any distance. It is a nice larger option that I dont see many alternatives for however.

perfect for camping
This came in free of charge through the Amazon Vine program. I’ve had no direct contact with Amazon Vine or the manufacturer and these opinions are my own.We put this in our camping kitchen box. Nice big hydration bladder, it fits okay in a normal-size backpack. You could also wear it like a messenger bag with the included strap, I guess?
