Paper cutter
Works much better than the rotary paper cutters (don't purchase rotary for precision work). Is solid, well made, American product. Perfect for photo use. You can not, however, make ultra small cuts with it (or with any cutter type that I know of)... if you try to remove approximately 1/16" or less from a sheet (you need to get it right the first time), it will tend to just fold over the edge of the paper. I was very pleased with the company that sold on the Amazon web site (not Amazon direct).

We had this for 2 or 3 years, but had to pitch it recently. The self-sharpening blade did not stay sharp. I switched to another brand.

Not good!!
This is not a good cutting board it doesn't cut straight the lines on the board are crooked!! And it scratches and makes a loud noise when cutting paper(sounds like nails on a chalk board) I got it as a gift and now can't return because it's past the amount of days!

paper cutter
Paper cutters (bought 2) work very well, and I highly recommend this product. It doesn't cut 20 papers at one time, but it does cut 5 really well which is all we needed. The price was really good also. We were able to buy 2 for what the cost of 1 would have been elsewhere!

Great Product!
This product is shipped to customer as shown. We use this trimmer in a small business setting, to cut letter and legal size paper and labels. We purchased this size because it would cut both size paper, for the latch on the cutter, and the ruler across the top of the trimmer that makes it easy to measure. Once you receive the product the manual tells you how to order the trim-ease sticks individually, directly from the company to keep the blade lubricated.

Good, but not great
Although this is a generally good cutter, I have found one annoyance and one downright problem. The annoyance is that it would be a lot easier to line up precise cuts along a prescribed line if the blade lifted up higher. The blade is so low that it's difficult to see where you need to line up the cut at the top. Yes, I know that precise work would be better served by a more specialized cutter, but I needed a general purpose, heavy duty one and this one fit the bill. The real problem I've encountered is that if I need to cut something longer than 13 7/8 inches, the screw on the blade handle latch hits the paper. This leaves a mark on the paper. I have had to take the latch off, which defeats the purpose and renders it less safe. This thing is advertised as being a 15 inch cutter, but unless you take off the latch you get 1 1/8 inches less.Aside from these 2 things, I have found the cutter to work well. It cuts through any cardboard that I've need to slice and is of good solid construction.

Get a grip
This is more of a warning/review. The paper cutter itself, is not bad. However, I just went to use it for the second time and picked it up by the "attached" rubber gripped handle. The grip slipped right off, and the paper cutter hit the concrete floor, breaking most of the plastic pieces around the hinged arm. It is no longer a "paper cutter" and is now an expensive "paper weight". My advice to buyers: Tape or glue the grip on it (like the manufacturer should have) unless you never plan to move it.

We've had this for 4 months - have used it on a few occasions as it is difficult to line paper up as the arm does not lift all the way off the board. Yesterday after cutting approx 40 (individual) sheets of card stock - the arm popped out of it's "socket" and it no longer works!!! Expensive doorstop!

Not the quality that 'Premiere' used to offer.
I spent the big bucks on a name brand 'Premiere' cutter because I had used one without issue at my work for over 15 years. I'm not really happy with the quality of the new one I bought.1) The top plastic part where the measurements are, used to be a solid piece, now it's just a plastic piece and mine has warped slightly in the middle right at the 8" mark making the squaring up with the blade out by 1/8 of an inch. May not seem like much but it's huge when you are cutting business cards.2) The green grid section (which is basically a plastic sticker over wood) has bubbled at the 1" mark so that once again it is difficult to line up straight right angles with the blade.3) There is no way that this can cut through 20 sheets of paper. (Plain office 20# paper or otherwise)4) When I had these problems with it I contacted the company I purchased it from. They were not helpful (Yes it was past the warranty period) and told me to contact Premiere directly which I did. I did not receive any answer back from Premiere at all.
