I loved this pan the first time I used it. I rarely fry anything but when I do it is hamburger. After using this pan only a few times the food began to stick. The pan developed a dark spot. Since I am single any only make one burger at a time, I fried using the non discolored area. The food stuck again. I have written to this seller 2x. I have contacted Gotham customer service and they promised a replacement. However they are now ignoring my emails as I believe this seller is doing. I am not asking for a refund. I would like a replacement of a non defective pan. I called Gotham they will not help with replacement since purchase was Amazon.

Only half of the skillet had no stick! I have a gas range and was making thin (like bacon) sliced beef ribs. Was excited to try out the new pan for the first time today. My husband laughed at me afterwards saying I'd gotten taken. Am filing for a refund!!!

I have purchased numerous Gotham pans over the past year. Each one starts nice with food not sticking but then they rapidly deteriorate. Their TV ad brags that you can use metal utensils with them. If you do the coating rapidly gets "scars" where food sticks. If the pans are hot enough to brown potatoes or sear a steak the pan coating quickly deteriorates. If you burn anything such as sausages in them the non-stick coating is immediately ruined. They are too fragile for me to continue replacing them. I'm leaving Gotham.

Having looked at some of the reviews here for this 9 1/2 inch Gotham Steel square pan they either really like this pan or really hate it. I guess you can count me among the really like it group. I have had some experience with these Gotham Steel pans before so know what they're like. I have an 8 inch round pan for a couple of years now and never have had any problem with using it. Cooks food evenly and easy to clean up with no extra effort with scrubbing it at all. So when I saw they had a square 9 1/2 inch pan I felt I would have the same good results and had no hesitation in ordering one. I'm am happy to say I am having the same good results with this new pan as with the other.For those who have had negative results with their pan I can't explain it. All I can think is that it all depends on how well these pans are put together while on the assembly line. If that were the case then I lucked out twice. I love both of these pans I have by Gotham Steel and would recommend getting them to anyone.

Definitely way smaller than advertised in their product description... Meaning the amount of steaks and toast that can supposedly fit in it. Also its not copper,its aluminum,and food can stick to it so must apply a good amount of oil to prevent that ,but even than the sides do develope a residue from oil and food particles so wash really fast and well after use to avoid any sticky build up. It advertises that the pan is free of all three chemicals in its non stick coating(see product description for which chemicals I'm talking about!) But once recieved ,the package label only lists one of those chemilcals(and nit the other 2,which was the entire readon of purchase,is to avoid ALL 3 chemicals and not just ONE!) ANYWAYS ,FEEL FREE TO PURCHASE IF ABOVE INFO SEEMS OKAY AND TOTALLY FITS YOUR NEEDS& EXPECTATIONS!

I LOVED the first 2 Gotham Steel pans I bought at Costco so much that I decided I needed one in EVERY SIZE, so I went on Amazon and bought a LOT more -- only to have the most-often used pans lose their miraculous "non-stickiness" (to the point they were completely useless) within 3 or 4 months -- AFTER it was too late to return them for a refund. (Note: no metal utensils were used and we followed all the other manufacturer's recommendations.)if you want to try them, get the 2-pan set at Costco. They allow returns more than a year after purchase. But you're better off just trying a different brand. Check out Consumer Reports recommendations. I wish I'd done so first!

just rec'd this Gotham Steel 9.5" "squared" pan and - simply because it was delivered ahead of time and I hadn't purchased eggs - I actually was able to pour in a can of my favorite soup, add vegetables and some chicken in it and cook up a nice meal, with those ingredients fitting comfortably in the pan ... on my Eco4us induction cooktop, I found 70% power for around 30 seconds, then 30% for the rest of the cook time, stirring into the center with a silicone spatula gave the best results ... one observation, tho: one of the features on the Amazon item page says "Chop veggies and whisk eggs right inside without having to worry about the coating peeling." with a metal knife pictured above the text, yet the instruction sheet that comes with the pan says "No sharp objects of any kind should be used on the inside or outside of Ti-Cerama cookware." ... a fairly obvious conflict in usage claims there ... with careful and sensible use and cleaning this item should provide good service and value

Honestly, when you first see them you think, they're not very sturdy looking. It looks like I'm going to burn my hands with the handles. I've never had much luck with things that appear to be nonstick but you're not sure. These are fabulous. I got rid of an expensive set of pans after the first try with these. Sauce pans, Dutch Ovens, Frying pans, all cook evenly, no stick, super easy to clean. I love 'em. If we could have these folks create bakeware, I'd be all over that too. Well worth the money and wouldn't trade them for anything now.

When we first used this I was quite happy with it. We just did eggs and they slid out easily, exactly as advertised. And that was the last time that happened. From the next time onward the pan began to grab food (and we did not overheat, followed everything we knew and had looked up about non-stick pans to make sure it lasted). At this point, it is actually the WORST pan we have for food sticking to the surface. Yesterdays eggs looked as though I'd used a shotgun to blast them out of the pan and the bacon had produced a dark, tarry film on the bottom that was difficult to remove. Again, we didn't overheat the pan. Sorry, had high hopes for this as we needed a good non-stick pan. This simply isn't it.

Mon conjoint et moi sommes vendus aux poêlons et plats pour le four Gotham Steel, nous les adorons. Ce poêlon-ci ne fait pas exception, il est totalement anti-adhésif et donc très facile à nettoyer puisque rien n'y colle. Le centre est très légèrement surélevé, faisant ainsi glisser les filets de poisson vers les bords, mais la chaleur se distribue tout même uniformément et ça cuit très bien. À noter que le poêlon a une dimension de 12 pouces et non pas 12,5 pouces comme sur la description (voir ma photo). Attention toutefois à ne pas utiliser d'ustensiles qui pourraient causer des égratignures, ce n'est pas à toute épreuve comme dans les pubs à la télé. Nous possédons maintenant ce poêlon-ci, un poêlon rond de 9,5 pouces, le moule à pain et le moule à gâteau. Ce sont tous d'excellents produits et nous avons une totale confiance pour la marque Gotham Steel!

The thing I like most is, as I am on a diet, that I do not have to put butter or other oils in to cook eggs, or grill toast or make burgers in this fry pan. It should be used on a lower heat than my other fryers, but even if the bread gets a little burnt, it just slides out of the pan, no scrubbing. It was a little smaller than I wanted, but it was as described in the ad and was delivered on time. I have already recommended this product to many people and will continue to do so.

Really liked this when I first recieved the pan. Super non-stick and everything wiped away easily. 3 weeks into use, burnt-on residue is difficult to remove. Picture shows results after 20 minutes of soaking and scrubbing. Definitely feel like the as on tv non-stick results wear off after use. Upside is I enjoy the size/shape although it may be a little too small for big families (definitely will not hold 4 slices of bread, unless it's squished to heck).

I have tried so many pans over the years claiming to be Non stick. When i saw the announcement of this one I thought finally it looks very good and the reviews were not bad. It worked well for about a week, then sadly cooking an egg and it started sticking to the pan. I do believe sometimes you can get a bad one in production but i can't say for sure since i cannot replace it after 30 days. So all i can say is for the price you might as well try another brand.
