I've tried dozens of sardines brands trying to find a kind that I liked, and Zoe sardines are by far the BEST I've tried! I drain the oil off and discard it, rinse them under the faucet a bit, and with a squeeze of lemon and some salt, and gluten free crackers, lunch is ready!These sardines are not 'mushy' or over-cooked (?), they are firm, they hold their shape, and they have a mild taste - and a big plus is that they don't 'repeat' on me all afternoon! (I just hate to use the word 'burp'...)I'll be buying these again!

Now scales to deal with. good tasting. Small fish. Not as rich and flavorful as some of the better brands with better olive oil and better fish smoking etc.

Great sardines and worth the price. But, I do NOT understand why the label says ZERO cholesterol. All other brands I buy, with seemingly the same simple ingredients show a cholesterol content. Any one able to explain that?

expensive but if you can afford them their worth the money! Packed very tight, not too much olive oil, what olive oil there is top quality! If you love sardines you have to try these once.
