Urgent replacement for prescription item
Prescription sensor failed and a replacement would mean several days wait so went online and ordered, with delivery much quicker. Thank you

Doesn't work properly
I've recently started having problems with my blood sugar levels dropping dangerously low, I bought this to add an element of safety having a constant reading, to help show the doctors my constant levels and to give me a break from constantly having to prick my finger. It has been good to wear and has accurately caught a hypo for me 3 times now which may have been too far gone for me to catch if I wasn't wearing it hence giving the extra star. However, the sensor has read wrong the majority of the time meaning I've still been having to constantly prick my finger and I'm not able to show my gp the charts as half the time they're completely wrong. I've been wearing it for 9 days so far and now have 5 days left and it's only now started reading a bit more accurately although it still has times of being completely off. It also constantly loses signal and half the time doesn't alert me to it. My phone will be right next to me and it will still keep losing signal. I've had quite a few times where it says sensor error and to come back and check in 10 minutes to try again which isn't very helpful if my sugars are low as I need it to be reading for safety. I'm constantly woken up in the night by the signal loss alarm (for some reason the alarm seem to work through the night) but my phones right next to me. I've heard very mixed reviews on this sensor.I tried to contact the company but they ignored all my messages. I contacted amazon who told me I needed to return for them to be able to refund which is obviously not possible when it's attached to my arm; amazon did refund in the end. For over £50, you'd expect an item like this to work properly and not be so hit and miss. Unfortunately there's not much choice of other sensors within the same price range or I'd be purchasing a different sensor. Going to purchase another one and hope it works better than this one.

Helpful!
This is really good to help manage your health and change your lifestyle to ensure you are eating and exercising at a time that is best for your body. Worth noting a quick google indicates that the sensor may give a lower reading for the first 48 hours during its calibration period. So if you are relying on it - perhaps double check with your usual method. The instructions say you need and alcohol wipe, it is not provided by Abbot. I used vodka and kitchen roll and allowed to fully dry. In all honesty if you are used to a CGM or finger prick machine you may have the alcohol wipes already but as they are listed as required by the manufacturer it's disappointing they are not included. There is a plaster to cover the monitor, some people say the monitor comes loose when nearing the 14 day period so its good for peace of mind. I believe this is perhaps provided by the supplier not Abbot the manufacturer so its a nice touch. It is fiddly though, mine looks a little messy but were on day 5 and it's still attached after showers, gym class, running and a nice long walk. All in all the CGM is good and the service was excellent, would recommend.

Great idea, but a bit delicate and accuracy not the best
I am now prescribed these by my GP, but ended up buying a couple where I thought I was wasting an expensive item because of "user error".I love the concept, and like using them. It is great to see your blood glucose level at a glance anytime. But:1. They are easily knocked and lose functionality, needing to be replaced.2. They need protection, such as being covered by a plaster, to survive the knocks.3. If your glucose level goes high the alarm is very loud and repeats 5 times, then again 5 times a fee minutes later if you are still "high" even if you have taken action. Very annoying, especially if at work. You can turn the alarm off, though.4. If compared with a finger-prick test, I found the patch reading was usually lower by 2 or 3 units. However, overall my blood glucose control has improved, so I am taking more care of them!4. Same goes for low readings.

Bitter Sweet
I recently purchased the Libra 2 glucose monitor and initially, I thrilled with its features. The graphs and charts it provides are helpful in tracking my blood sugar levels, and it gave me great sense of peace of mind knowing that I could easily monitor my levels the day. However, my excitement quickly to disappointment when the device stopped working after only 4 days of use. I decided to give it another chance and ordered a replacement, but to my dismay, the second one also malfunction after just 2 days The app prompted me to replace the sensor, even though I had taken extra precautions to keep it dry by purchasing waterproof covers. It is incredibly frustrating to have invested in two devices that have failed me in such a short amount of time. While I appreciate the potential benefits of the Libra 2 glucose monitor I cannot overlook the disappointment and inconvenience of experiencing two malfunctions in just 7 days. My hope is that the company can address these and improve the reliability of their product in the future.

It works really well
Love the product but could have done with a bit more info as I am a first time user. However, it was easy to work out and I am ok now
