If you buy a 8 panel dog playpen, the diameter is approximately 72 inch if all panels are used in a circle; If you buy a 16 panel dog playpen, the diameter is approximately 140 inch if all panels are used in a circle. This kennel can be adjusted the shape according to your available space, such as rectangle, square, hexagon, etc.

Q: We cannot open the gate. Can anyone help me figure out how the latch opens?

Our dog playpen is equipped with the Automatic Gravity-action Door Lock Mechanism, you can lift the bottom of the lock up a little to open the door. At the same time, the door can be locked automatically.

Yes, I'm sure you can purchase additional panels. I have a 16 panel one and my two Cheweenies hate being caged up :-)
