Amstron 12V/5AH Sealed Lead Acid Battery w/ F2 Terminal

I found out the hard way that the batteries in my UPS essentially were no longer holding a charge and when I lost power my iMac went down with it and I lost data. I recommend checking the batteries in your UPS every 6 months to determine whether they are still holding a charge or not. I also recommend before ordering that you open up your UPS (or check the manual) and determine how many batteries are in your device, which I failed to do and cost me extra shipping that I could have avoided when I had to order a second battery. UPS devices from the outside look intimidating, but unplug the device and check your manual, they should be relatively easy to open and once open it is almost as easy as changing the batteries in a flashlight; although, you are just dealing with larger batteries. Great value, easy install -- what more could you ask for? :)

The description and dimensions are exactly as described. This battery seems like great quality compared to similar ones of different brands.

I installed this in a nylon line trimmer/edger in July 2017 and a little over a year later it would only run few minutes before the voltage dropped considerably. This unit was only used for a short period of time every couple of weeks during the summer so I expected not to have to replace the battery again. Try another brand.

I ordered this 5 amp battery to replace the dead 4 amp battery in my old Belkin 375VA ups/power-strip. The 12v battery I received is a 6 amp battery! That's a 50% improvement over the original and another 20% than I paid for.This is a no-brainer bargain instead of replacing the unit.

Bought to replace the battery in a computer battery-back-up. Works as expected.

Bought in mid-August 2016, now in mid-July 2017 it won't hold a charge.....less than a year of service in a handheld blower that gets used only in spring/summer/fall after mowing the lawn.

Replacing the dead battery in the UPS with this new one saved me the cost of needing to purchase a whole new UPS. UPS works again now that the battery has been replaced.
