There is learning curve to this cleaner. I have found that this roller works great on clean records...yes, clean records. If you think you have a clean record but you can still hear snaps, cracked, and pops, put your record on a sturdy flat surface and roll the grooves with a firm downward force. This forces the roller into the hard to get areas. This is where the roller shines! Don't roll it on a dirty record. It can't get to the in-depth grooves. I'm amazed at what a difference this roller makes.

This thing is trash. It's better used as a lint roller on your clothes. I tried this stupid thing on some dirty records and it did nothing. It sticks to the surface a bit and just goes in a straight line; ideally it should follow the circular shape of the record to clean it. But it doesn't do that because it's garbage. I wish I could remember who recommended this awful thing so I could never speak to them again.

This product works great! I think some reviewers have unrealistic expectations. It's not a replacement for a deep clean of an extremely dirty record. However, it is 100 times better than any brush I've used for a quick cleaning/wipe before playing. This is definitely worth having in your cleaning toolkit, especially for the price.

I use this thing to clean everything now - my vinyls, tablet screens, keyboard, etc. It hasn’t scratched anything and I love how easily it cleans off afterwards.

To remove visible dust does really good. Not good for deep cleaning.

Good product. If you buy used records, this would be the first step I would use to get the grime out. Afterwards, I use a record brush with liquid. like Discwasher. This product would give the first aid TLC those used records need.
