This is a great tea to have around in the winter months. I have known about the benefits of mullein but I hadn’t heard of houttuynia cordata so I wanted to give it a try. I did some reading about it and it seems like a great herb to use alongside mullein. Do some quick research to learn for yourself. It is easy to use and taste “healthy “ as my son would say. It doesn’t taste bad to me, but I am used to drinking all kinds of healthy teas. It definitely tastes better with some lemon and honey added, which I usually add to many teas anyway. The tea bags are those little plastic pyramids, which I don’t use because I avoid heated plastic in my diet, so I empty the herbs into my own tea ball and that works just fine. This tea is a product of China and exited in a little over a year.

I don't like this tea, it definitely is not for me. However, it's easy to brew and I'd definitely recommend giving it a try if you think you may like the flavor!

As a herbal tea, I say you should get this if you're interest in it's health benefits more then it's taste, as it's quite a muted mild flavor, and a tad bitter. If you want your taste-buds to be happy, you'll want to add onto it with something like lemon or honey. That said, the tea leaves in the bags all seemed fresh, brewed well, and I enjoyed it.

The resealable plastic bag has 20 tea bags. The ingredients is only the two types of herbs. The label is clear and easy to understand with an expiration date easy to see. The tea had a herbal taste and it was mild. This was my first time drinking this type of tea and it had an interesting taste.
