The sled made it so much easier in a long drag up a rocky trail. Drag with sled was half the effort it would have been without. Light weight and easy to roll-up and carry along to stand. I did use an extra rope to help secure deer to drag but definitely worth the purchase since it is durable vinyl and able to use again and again.

I bought this as a gift for someone else but it seems to be well made and packs down small enough to where it will not take up a lot of room.

Worked well for dragging a large buck out of the woods apps 1 mile. Was able to drag the animal out myself. Otherwise would have taken much longer or 2 people.

I hunt in Southeast Georgia, mainly in pine forests and swamp bottoms. I've used this to drag two deer so far this year. Both times over seven hundred yards. I have a game cart that would hang up on everything in the woods. This little gem is so much easier than a game cart. It pulls much easier, it just glides over palmettos, heavy brush. gall berry bushes, mud, and logs. The great thing about it is you can pack it to your stand. No going back to the truck for your game cart. Goin to get one for my brother it's so good. So far, no cuts or tares mentioned in other companies' product reviews.

These slides are a good way to move heavy stuff around. Not just for game animals but also firewood, heavy boxes, furniture etc. Be sure to put the load on the non-shiny side. This could also be used as an emergency evacuation slide to drag an injured person over snow, grass or smooth dirt surfaces. It says it is not designed for gravel or sharp rocky terrain.

My son-in-law is new to Alabama hunting. A few weeks ago he related a story about shooting a hog. Of course he couldn't carry it back to the camp alone. He had a friend with a truck and trailer and they managed to find the hog, get it on to the trailer and drive it to the camp. I was thinking, it was good they could find the hog again, he had someone available with a trailer and that it all worked out fine. But what if??? So I searched Amazon and found this set up. He is getting it for Christmas s I don't know what he will think. But I think it's a good solution to have on hand. And it won't hurt his already injured shoulder.

This is a great quality deer drag. The high visibility color also adds safety when dragging a deer through the woods. The seller was wonderful, and the item arrived promptly.

This sled is awesome for dragging deer and is light enough to carry in every time. It is much better than walking back to the vehicle to grab a wheeled cart.
